Rasen Cottage works well for couples or small families wanting a base to explore Lincoln without leaving the city centre. The two bedrooms each have a kingsize bed, sleeping four in total, with one bathroom and a layout spread across three floors. You have the whole place to yourself, with a lower ground floor sitting room, ground floor kitchen and dining area, and both bedrooms upstairs. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. An enclosed rear garden with seating and a BBQ offers somewhere to spend an evening outdoors. Lincoln's main attractions are within walking distance: the Castle, the Bailgate's restaurants and independent shops, and the cobbled Steep Hill leading down to Brayford Wharf. Beyond the city, the Lincolnshire Wolds and Market Rasen Racecourse are roughly half an hour's drive, and Newark Showground's antique fairs and agricultural events are accessible for a day trip. The Bomber Command visitor centre and various countryside walks draw history enthusiasts and those wanting to get outside. Parking is on the road, and the property is non-smoking.

We had a fantastic stay at Rasen Cottage. All that we needed it was very clean and spacious towels were provided, beds were lovely, all that we needed for our stay was available. Located close to Lincoln Castle (we attended the Madness concert). Within walking distance of the Lincoln Cathedral and fantastic shops. There is every bank in the town that you would need. Definitely recommend Rasen Cottage and we hope to stay here again soon x

This is a lovely place to stay. 2 large and light bedrooms, a large kitchen and a comfortable room to relax, talk, and watch television. We also enjoyed and afternoon picnic in the garden behind the house. Easy to walk to the Cathedral and Castle and Steep Hill. We had four adults and this ranked as one of the best places we’ve stayed. Clean, roomy, comfortable!

We loved Rasen Cottage and completely recommend it! The cottage is well equipped and spotless. We enjoyed our time relaxing here. Kitchen is great and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished. Plenty of room to store belongings and the cottage is ideal for a short or long term stay. Communication with Lexi was fantastic.
