Expect a proper guest house rather than a small hotel.
There are ten en-suite rooms in single, double and family configurations, all with free wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and fresh towels. Rooms are plainly but comfortably furnished and kept scrupulously clean, which is the point repeat guests make most often. A freshly cooked full English breakfast is served at weekends, with continental, vegetarian and vegan options available.
Parking is free on site, which alone saves a considerable amount over a city-centre hotel where overnight parking is frequently charged at £15 to £25. The house is also pet friendly, another thing that separates it from most of the central options. For a football weekend it is hard to better: Anfield is a walk away and the Everton stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is a short drive or bus ride down the dock road.
Bootle is a working residential district rather than a tourist one, and visitors should arrive expecting that. Bus routes along Hawthorne Road run into the city centre in around twenty-five minutes, and Bootle Oriel Road and Bootle New Strand stations put Liverpool Central within fifteen minutes on Merseyrail. It suits football supporters, families on a budget, drivers who want to avoid city parking charges, and anyone travelling with a dog.

Stayed with my Son as we were visiting Anfield for the Legends game. Upon arriving we met Julie the owner and found her to be very friendly. The room was perfect for myself and Son. Comfortable, warm and certainly clean. Shower provided hot water and towels. The breakfast was indeed perfect and you would not go away hungry. Very tasty. Eggs perfect and very filling. I noted many families were there and obviously were enjoying their stay. From young to older. I would highly recommend Breeze Guest House for anyone considering visiting Liverpool or Anfield. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant around the corner and the food is piping hot and delicious. Across the road from the Chinese there is a local pub. Would have no hesitation staying at Breeze Guest House again and thanks Julie.

We felt so welcomed by Julie and her family. They made sure to treat us so well! Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. It felt more like staying with friends.

5* accommodation. Me and my friend stayed over for one night and it was all we needed to feel like at home! The rooms are clean and warm. The owner is super helpful. We even got a super early check-in (9:30am). We will be back!

Me and my son stayed here recently for the football. The owner was very accommodating and if we required anything they were more than happy to help. Ideal location from Anfield and the room was of high standard and perfect for our overnight stay. Would highly recommend and would stay there again in the future. 😁
