About The Baltic Hotel

Breakfast is one of the highlights at The Baltic Hotel, a 52-room property in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, with a spread that's regularly singled out as one of the better ones in the area. There's also a restaurant, a bar and outdoor seating for drinks, plus room service and snacks for anyone who prefers to eat in, and kids' meals are available for families.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, walk-in showers and large beds, and are consistently described as clean and well-presented, with family and accessible rooms among the options across the hotel's six floors. Extras include free WiFi, drinks in the room, a lift, luggage storage and concierge services, all backed up by staff who are generally helpful, though communication has occasionally been flagged as an area that could improve.

The location puts guests within easy reach of Albert Dock and the creative, nightlife-heavy streets of the Baltic Triangle itself, with pubs, bars, restaurants and other entertainment all nearby. There's no parking available on site, so it suits those arriving without a car or happy to sort parking separately.

There's a lot to love about this hotel. Excellent service from friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Great walk in showers. Bed was much too soft and quite uncomfortable, I could feel the bedframe when I laid down. Decor is very cool but needs a bit of maintenance- loose tile in shower, paint touched up with a colour that doesn't quite match, etc. At the end of the day, a good hotel where I would love to stay again, but the bed put me off.

We came to the Baltic for my 30th birthday and I had the absolute best time. The hotel is not too far away from the city centre or other bars and shops etc. The staff were absolutely lovely and so accommodating. The AC wasn't working but they went out their way to provide us with fans for the room which was so kind of them. I will absolutely be back ❤️

Various reception staff(think we saw six) only Daniel listened and was helpful. Others very dismissive. Room very dark pictures off walls and on floor propped against wall. Smelt bad not sure what stale smoke/damp. My asthma has flared up since Saturday night. I made the mistake of putting my bag and some clothes on bedroom floor. They stink, hoping smell comes out. Supposed to a a king bed 2 singles pushed together, not even zip lock ones. They did change it from 2 singles when we arrived but still not a propper king. Breakfast was poor. Reception has a hostel vibe. Website is very misleading with photos and description. Definitely not a 4 star. Very disappointed. Told at reception we'll you get what you pay for. Wasn't cheap! And the minimum you expect is a clean unsmelly room.

We just stayed here for my sister's hen party weekend. It did not disappoint. Aesthically it is great and the location could not have been better to a point A taxi driver was unhappy to take us home as it was so close (so a rubbish fare for him) but just too far for our feet after a day and night out. All the staff were helpful and the lady on reception especially helpful. Nothing was too much for any of them. Our rooms were together and it was like we had our own private floor. Bedrooms decor is amazing and bed/bed linen comfy and very clean. Brilliant and thank you.
