Nice and quiet campsite allocated near Snowdon. You can get facilities such as a hot shower, washing pot, fridge, freezer, food and a wonderful view of the lake, mountains and Snowdon. You can easily walk to the village to get shops, cafes, lake swim/activities and more, just a 10-15 minutes walk. The only issue is the campsite is allocated on a hill which makes it difficult to find a flat pitch, and if you find one, lots of stones underground won't let you fix up your tent to the ground.

My friends and I were attempting the National 3 Peaks Challenge and needed a campsite to rest after we had finished. Sadly we had booked the wrong date (by 24 hours), but they were happy to allow us use of the campsite on the date we did require. Honestly, I cannot praise this camp site enough. I camped here once years ago when o hiked from Lincoln to Snowdon, the gentleman running the site at the time was incredibly friendly and actually let my friend and I stay an extra night for free as we were also hiking for Charity at that time too. The campsite bites burger shack is delicious. Decent portions for decent prices. Chef Ashley has a wonderful demeanour and a is a dab-hand on the kitchen. The other photo attached to my review here is for the current owners of the venue. The gentleman on the right of our image was the guy that greeted me here years ago. I was wondering if you knew his name or what became of him? Thank you ever so much for fitting us in, you’ve a beautiful campsite and I hope I should require your services again in the future. - Rick, Jamie & Abby; Lincoln.

Camping in Llanberis has been on my list for years and it honestly didn’t disappoint. Most people, me included in the past, see Llanberis as just the starting point for Snowdon, but the village itself is beautiful and full of character. We arrived nice and early so had the whole day to explore properly with the poodles. Surrounded by mountains, lakes, little cafés and amazing views everywhere you look, it has such a relaxed atmosphere despite being such a famous place. The boys absolutely loved wandering around the lake and exploring all the little paths and corners of the village. It felt like one of those places where you could stay for days and still not run out of things to see. Tomorrow we head up to Dinorwig Quarry and I genuinely can’t wait.

Wonderful campsite, in the most stunning location and lovely owners. Stacks of space to pitch up, views of Llyn Padarn, and Snowdon. Very peaceful with everything you need, including a washing up area, drying area and even a takeaway van at weekends, where you can get the best bacon rolls in the mornings and also bugers in the eve,. Its hilly as expected, but you can find flattish spots. Right near the start of the Ranger Path a super quiet, and easy route up Snowdon. As advised on their website I followed google maps and it got me there perfectly. I cant wait to return next month, a huge thank you! ☺️
