About Dol Peris
Llanberis sits at the foot of Eryri National Park, with Llyn Padarn on its doorstep and the Snowdon Mountain Railway running from the village, making it a natural base for walkers and anyone drawn to the mountains. Dol Peris offers a straightforward, comfortable stay right in this setting, with 10 rooms spread across two floors.
Rooms are bright and kept simple, many with views out to the surrounding mountains, and all with en-suite bathrooms. Family rooms are available, and there's free Wi-Fi throughout along with drinks available in the room. Practical touches matter here: a guest kitchen and a drying room make it easy to dry out boots and kit after a day on the trails, a detail that counts for granted for anyone tackling Eryri in changeable weather.
Outside, there's a garden and outdoor seating for relaxing at the end of the day, plus free on-site parking and 24 hour reception. The area itself offers cycling and walking routes, fishing and watersports nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach. It's a no-frills base built around access to the mountains and the lake rather than added luxury.
What guests say
Over priced given the limited room facility itself. The room near the main road gets really noisy in weekend evenings and the rooms themselves are hardly soundproof at all, and you can almost hear everything your neighbours say. Quite disappointing for people who need a proper break before and after hiking.

We had a lovely stay at Dol Peris. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Lisa, who gave us a brief tour of the property. The shared kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and there were two cosy lounge rooms perfect for relaxing. There are no TVs—a welcome invitation to disconnect—but Wi-Fi is available if needed. We stayed in Room 5, which offered a stunning mountain view. As someone who prefers a cooler room, the temperature was ideal. The room also included a private toilet and shower, which added to the comfort. Dol Peris is centrally located, making it easy to explore the town and access local transport. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you!

If you have come to north Wales for the mountains, you can't do much better than a stay at Dol Peris. It has convenient access to all the main walking and climbing spots. There's also a reliable bus that saves you from having to park at Pen y Pas. The accommodation is immaculate. The kitchen is really well stocked and well organised. Even when the guesthouse is busy you can still make sandwiches, cook food and brew tea. And the owners are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located at the centre of Llanberis and is close to everything. Room 8 is absolutely spacious and comfortable for four adults. Large kitchen and dining area for public sharing. Very reasonably priced given the limited supply of accommodation in Llanberis. Couldn't ask for more.
