St George's Hotel

Just home from a four night break at the St. George Hotel. We booked a rooftop king-size bedroom. The view was amazing and being able to sit on our own balcony was a great added bonus. The room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Bathroom was outstanding with a large walk in shower or a deep bath which ever you prefer along with twin sinks and a toilet. We always used the shower due to mobility. They used to provide small bottles of Elemis toiletries but now have Temple Spa on the walls in containers which I much prefer. Tea and coffee replenished daily along with biscuits. Settee needs attention as had a rip where the framework had come through but could still be used. Breakfast buffet had a great choice but the hot food was only ever warm. This was served to you when you went to the buffet hot food serving area. All other food you helped yourself to. In the early evening a lovely caring lady named Linda came to the room to turn back bedding and prepare the room for the evening. Linda is an outstanding member of staff at the hotel and she deserves so much credit. Thank you Linda. Missed you on your day off. 🥰 Rooftop rooms have parking spaces allocated on arrival and a small car park is also available. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing, with a great sea view and a lovely walk along the promenade which is flat. Watch out for the goats either on the Great Orme or even in the town. Shops, bars and restaurants are all behind the hotel so not far at all. Thank you to all staff for a lovely break and we will see you again. Mike and Cheryl Room 421

Fried Fries and Fly Aug 2026 • Couples Visited St George restaurant Friday 7th Aug 2026..Only went to utilise a voucher we received as birthday present ..Service ok ..however ordered Olives as a stater and ordered club sandwich for main ...Olives never arrived after 15mins .so prompted again which they eventually turned up ..,no cocktails sticks at first but then arrived .. ..Drinks arrived promptly no issues ..Mains came and first impressions looked very appetising...Club Sandwich with Skin on Fries and salad garnish ..All going great until we emptied fries out of basket once room on plate ..In them we found a fried fly ..which really put us both off the remainder of meal ...brought to attention of waiter who apologised and that was it ...Our bill was £53.60 we had voucher for £50 so outstanding was £3.60 which they charged us at the till .lest to say we wouldn’t be going back to hotel or restaurant .. ...Pleasant staff but a manager should of been informed and visit our table to discuss ...poor customer service..

Great hotel lived up to my expectations and more. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooftop bedroom spacious and modern with a lovely balcony to enjoy the sunshine we had all weekend. Only downside was to blessed by one of the many seagulls as I sat down to enjoy my book on our first afternoon.
