About White Heather Hotel

A full English or Welsh breakfast with hot and cold choices, fresh fruit and cereals sets the tone at White Heather Hotel, a 30-room property on St Georges Place in Llandudno. It's the kind of start to the day that guests tend to remark on, alongside staff who are consistently described as helpful and a general sense of good value for what you pay.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and room service, though some are on the dated side rather than freshly renovated, so it suits those after comfort and practicality over modern styling. Stayed three nights during the spring holiday in a single room. The location of the hotel is great, just a step away from the promenade, shopping, restaurants cafes at arms reach. Access through high steps, quite a job to carry the luggage up. The hotel’s really old, corridors narrow, floors creaking, but at least there’s an elevator. The walls are paper thin you could hear every breath of the neighbours. The room was the tiniest I’ve ever seen, old wallpaper, old furniture, but everything was clean, the bed comfortable. Bathroom even smaller, no water pressure, but clean and manageable for a day or two. Breakfast was a disappointment, mainly English breakfast with all the sausages and beans, sliced bread, no veggies at all, bad coffee. But I guess it’s just a matter of preference. The staff were nice and helpful, had an okay stay overall.

Zero Hot Water. Valentine's weekend ❤️ Arrived went out had a fantastic day around Llandudno almost perfect for what it is, arrived back about midnight, after checking in at 2.30p.m after a coffee and chatting decided to have our showers to get ready for valentine's day aka a Shower, had no hot water at all. So firstly girlfriend was fuming so we went to speak to the receptionist, who simply said nothing he could do, that added fuel to the fire, so not being able to have a wash my girlfriend was fuming so this was perfect valentine's atmosphere, creating not much sleep for either, my girlfriend decided to leave and go home first thing and she did, packed her bags once the receptionist had said nothing he could do and she was on the first train, leaving me alone, after running to the train station like a idiot first thing in the morning to try and restore our valentine day, I had breakfast alone then packed and checked out myself not continuing with the rest of our stay. Seems the message wasn't passed on because no one did anything. Being asked after my girlfriend had checked out did I want a different room, I said it's ok my girlfriend has already left no point. Shame that couldn't have happened earlier really, Like everyone says it's dated, breakfast was ok, toasters need updating as it's a joke waiting 10 mins for toast, could do with staff that are in this realm chap who greeted us and was at the bar was decent. The only modern thing is the lift it's fairly modern and tells you the weather. Called the hotel to see if they wanted to say anything and literally told they will have to speak to the boss couldn't say anything although was apologetic that's not resolved anything, 24 hours earlier I sent a email with no response also. Id you're looking for a hotel in Llandudno there is lots of choice iv stayed at a few and for the same money can have a better experience. Much love to all hope this helps anyone planning a trip.
