Abermarlais Caravan and Camping Park

We stayed here for the end of May bank holiday. Very welcoming and friendly. The site was very well kept and very tidy. We had pitch 10 and it was lovely and flat so no need for ramps on our campervan, there was a small stream behind us which the dog enjoyed as it was very hot. There is great dog walking in the site in the woods, we also done a 4 mile walk from site in the countryside and that was fantastic. The shower block was very nice and clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this adult only. Ricky.

Adults only caravan site, despite being easily accessed from main road, no road noise as set back. large pitches- serviced and non serviced, lots of trees around edge for shade if needed, shady walks for dog including along river, great for a cooling paddle for our goldie as heatwave at moment. Whole site including shower block facilities immaculate. Owner Tania couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. Booked another week after one night as so impressed. National trust properties not too far plus nature reserves, red kite feeding station, small Welsh rural towns Brecon Beacons National Gardens, Aberglasney etc worth a visit

A wonderful caravan site that feels incredibly peaceful and well cared for. It’s quiet, spotless and you can tell a huge amount of care has gone in maintaining the site and creating such a relaxing atmosphere. Everything feels tidy and looked after, making it the perfect place to switch off and unwind. What really stood out was how welcoming the owners are- they genuinely take the time to stop and talk to you, which adds a personal touch and makes you feel really welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

For 5* rooms, read Pitches. We stayed here for 10 days during the second 2026 heatwave, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place. The pitches are huge; we were on a fully serviced pitch, but the others were just as impressive. Behind our pitch was a very large natural area of grass and large trees, with a stream running behind. Unfortunately, we could not get into the stream to paddle, but the sound of its babbling was lovely. You pay for any electrics you use, any have any leftover money returned to you. We were amazed as to how little that amounted to, so the park certainly do not make any profit on that! A fair and good system. The ablutions block is amazing: modern and immaculate. In fact the whole site is immaculately kept by the owners, Tania and Steve. If you want to visit that part of Wales, I truly believe you could not hope to find a more perfect site …. provided you want an Adults Only site, which at our age we feel is a must.
