About The West Arms
Tucked into the hills around Llanarmon, with the Denbighshire countryside rolling out towards the mountains beyond, The West Arms makes the most of a genuinely rural setting. This is walking and cycling country, with fishing and horse riding nearby too, and the National White Water Centre within reach for anyone after something more active.
The hotel has 16 rooms, many with traditional decor and real fires that suit the old inn character of the place. Rooms come en-suite, with family rooms available, drinks in room, and room service if you'd rather not move once you're settled by the fire. Free WiFi and free on-site parking are provided throughout.
Food is a strong point, with a restaurant serving hearty pub classics such as roast beef and pizza, and kids' meals and packed lunches available for those out exploring by day. Breakfast is included, and the garden gives extra space to sit outside. Staff are attentive and the whole operation runs with a 24-hour reception, making it a straightforward base for walkers, weddings, or anyone travelling with pets, which are welcome throughout.

What guests say
My family and I were staying locally and we decided to pop in for a drink but we decided to stay and try their pizza night. We were not disappointed. Everything was cooked perfectly, the food was amazing. The only thing that topped the food was the service, all the staff we super friendly and the chef even cooked a meal that wasnt on their menu for very fussy member of group. Unfortunately we went in at the end of our holiday otherwise we would definitely have returned. Recommend 100%

Lovely drive out to llanarmon to visit west arms for a Sunday lunch. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We had a 3 course meal, tomato soup, beef dinner and choc cake. Everything was fantastic, tasted great, good portion sizes and priced great. We are fairly local in llangollen so will be going back more often. The beer garden is like no other fantastic views. 10/10 experience.
