About Barnutopia
Katrina fell hard for Tanycoed farm the moment she spotted it folded into Shropshire's green hills, and her passion shows in every corner of Barnutopia. Set around the main farmhouse and stable block, the site gazes out over open fields and long views, with miniature Hereford bullocks, Zwartbles sheep and a pig grazing nearby. Three well-equipped guest kitchens—the Cookhouse, Kitchen Shack and Galley—mean you can self-cater properly, though a superb Sunday lunch awaits at the village pub half a mile away, and Oswestry's supermarkets are ten minutes by car.
The converted stable block houses spacious, accessible shower rooms with unlimited hot water, and Mrs B lives on site to lend a hand whenever needed. Dogs are welcome year-round but must stay on lead around the livestock. It's a peaceful, remote spot with spectacular walking straight from the tent door, and while the terrain can be uneven underfoot in places, the warmth of the welcome more than makes up for it.

Barnutopia hosted our wedding. A wonderful venue set in rural Shropshire, with lovely views. The staff were amazing, so kind and thoughtful throughout organising the day and on the day itself. Our guests all commented on the lovely food and the bespoke decorations as well as the superb staff. A very relaxed, but can do atmosphere throughout the whole process. We can't rate Barnutopia highly enough as they did absolutely everything in their power to make our wedding perfect.

Hosted my son wedding and from start to finish all staff pulled out all the stops. Even organised a last minute cakes for us. I can’t praise them enough. Such a relaxing venue and beautiful views. Highly recommend. Thanks again Katrina x

I photographed an amazing summer wedding at Barnutopia, and it’s such a fantastic place for an outdoor wedding celebration, set in the stunning countryside. Guests can make a weekend of it and stay on-site, with options for accommodation or camping. The spacious barn hosted the meal and dancing, with additional undercover outdoor space beside it, which was transformed into a custom pub for the day and in the evening a chilled space away from the dance floor, with a cosy fire pit and blankets. The team on-site were amazing and kept everything running smoothly. Couples can bring their own caterers and pick their own entertainment, making every part of the day personal to them.

Amazing!!!!!! Such a great safe place really welcoming to everyone. Couldn't ask for better The only slightly bad thing is the wifi , as a big group it wasn't the best, obviously the location does help
