About Dan Y Ser Glamping Under The Stars
If you love nature but also enjoy creature comforts, Dan Y Ser Glamping brings together the best of both worlds in a peaceful Powys wildflower meadow. The luxury bell tents are strictly adults-only (plus dogs) and come with a clever trick: transparent roof panels above the beds, designed for stargazing under the region's famously dark skies. Inside you'll find a proper double bed, cosy rugs and quality bedding, while just steps away there's a fully equipped camp kitchen and private bathrooms with proper showers. Each pitch also includes its own hot tub – perfect for soaking under the stars on clear nights.
Set ten minutes' drive from Llanidloes, the site provides a peaceful retreat with a garden firepit for barbecues and picnic seating among the trees. For an extra touch of luxury, you can pre-order breakfast hampers (continental or full Welsh cooked) from the owners, with the option to add Champagne or gin to really spice up your mornings. No WiFi means proper digital detox time – ideal for unwinding in the Welsh countryside.

What visitors say
Honestly this is a beautiful location and place however really let down by rude owners and service. Hot tubs PH levels were dangerous. Coughing, eye irritation and itchy skin. Way too much chlorine. When we told her about she just didn’t know what she was doing. She did come to fill the hot tub up for us but no apology. The hot tub was also damaged, couldn’t have the jets on due to the huge gash by the jets causing the yet to bubble to an uncomfortable hight. No fix was made. Service was poor and lies were made about us when we left! Won’t return. I think a little bit of sympathy would have been nice but they dismissed our feelings.

Loved this trip, so peaceful and beautiful. Loved the cute outdoor things. The kitchen and cooking outdoors, toilet and shower. The hot tub was amazing and inside the tent was beautiful. Loved every minute of it and can't wait to return.

Great location up in the hills, away from the hustle and bustle. Civilisation is only 10 minutes away. We loved our weekend here, so peaceful, the view of the valley is stunning. The bell tent is perfectly kitted out, proper bed, well furnished, very cosy. The facilities with the tent are rustic and practical. The covered kitchen area has everything one needs for the stay. The shower has good pressure and is hot, the eco toilet takes a little getting used to but it's no bother. The hot tub is a luxury not often experienced, but we loved it. The owner popped over to say hello, very friendly, chatty, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.
