For the price, it remains a solid, well-placed option for a London stay.

What guests say
A small, quiet hotel. The rooms are small, but it's a Victorian building. Our room overlooked the garden. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom has a massage shower—very nice after a tiring day. Toiletries are provided. There's a hot drinks corner. Plenty of storage space. It's a quiet and relaxing place to relax. The location is excellent—public transportation, attractions, and plenty of cafes and restaurants are nearby or within a short walk. Breakfast options include hot, sandwiches, and light options. All requests were taken into account. I recommend it.

There is no way this hotel is rated 4 stars reviews on Google. This was the most trashy hotel we have been to. The pictures on the internet are deceiving and does not look like that in person. The rooms are extremely tiny. Probably 10 ft by 10 ft and the worst part? The entire building doesn’t have AC. There’s just 2 small fans for the entire room. The showers were disgusting and overall just a horrible experience. I wound definitely not book this place again. This is more like a 1 star motel. I would not even soldier calling this place a hotel

Paid £245 for an overnight stay for 4 of us ladies as we were watching a show that night. Was told on arrival that we would need to let ourselves in after 10pm as there was no 24 hour concierge (remember this) We had a basement room so dumped our stuff off, had a quick cigarette in the garden, which you have to walk through the office to get to, quick change then off to the show. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was closeness to the theatre, it was an evening show so was dressed accordingly. Had to order an uber there and back as really was too far away to walk in our finery to the show. Came back and indeed had to let ourselves in..no problems there until we had found out upon entering our room, turning on the t.v and inputting the WIFI code they gave us it looked as if they had either switched the WiFi off, or as we were situated in the basement, the signal wasn't strong enough. As there is no 24 staffing (remeber) there was noone we could call on for help! 2 double beds for 4 women. Im glad were all good friends! Beds were comfy but only 1 pillow each. I woke at 7 and as I went upstairs to have a cigarette, there still was no staff, so reception was locked, so couldn't access the garden. Ended up sitting on the front step of the hotel with my cup of tea. Not a great look! Room was dirty and in desperate need of some T.L.C. disgusting price (£245) for a sub par room with windows nailed shut dirt and glass on the floor. Would not recommend and would deffo not return. Also, for the price i paid, breakfast WASNT included! We could pay that night and have a slight discount or, if we decided in the morning to have the continental style breakfast that would be another 19.90 ish pound each! There a Waterstones coffee/book shop across the road that opened at 8.30 so went there for breakfast instead.

I stayed at the Arosfa Hotel for one night and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, and the design and decoration of the property are charming, elegant, and authentically English. It truly felt warm and welcoming, and most of the staff were extremely kind and attentive. Unfortunately, my experience at checkout was overshadowed by the behaviour of one receptionist working on the morning of my departure. During breakfast, she entered the restaurant and spoke to a table of two guests in a very abrupt and almost shouting tone, telling them: “You finished? Okay, you need to go now, there are other people waiting.” Everyone in the room looked at each other in disbelief. A few minutes later, while I was still eating, she came to my table and didn’t ask but told me: “You are alone, so move to the smaller table.” I refused — not because I didn’t want to move, but because of the way she spoke to me. Had she asked politely, I would have moved without hesitation. Her attitude was unnecessarily rude and completely out of place in an otherwise lovely hotel. It’s a shame, because the rest of the staff were wonderful and the hotel itself is beautiful. With better customer service training for that one receptionist, this would have been a perfect stay.
