About Comfotel Grn

Comfotel Grn suits guests who want straightforward, no-fuss accommodation within easy reach of central London, rather than a destination in itself. With just 16 rooms, it has the feel of a small, manageable hotel rather than a sprawling chain property, and its Shepherds Bush Road address puts it close to Shepherds Bush itself, useful for anyone visiting the capital for work, a short break, or as a stopover before heading further afield.

Rooms come with the basics covered, including toiletries, and the hotel has built a reputation for keeping things clean and comfortable. There's a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast, free WiFi, a gym, and lift access, plus practical extras such as luggage storage, a laundry service, and free on-site parking, which is a genuine bonus for a London hotel. Air conditioning is listed among the facilities, though some guests have found rooms without it, so it's worth checking at booking if that matters to you. Staff are generally described as friendly and welcoming, even if responsiveness can occasionally be slower than expected.

Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers pubs, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, and the garden provides a quiet spot to sit outside. For those planning a wedding or meeting, the property also offers dedicated event space and concierge services. It's a practical choice for travellers who prioritise location and value over extras.

Comfortable room but we were on the 3rd floor with no lift and also there during the heatwave so it was unbearably hot. A huge fan was provided, which helped but lack of aircon wasn't great. The bathroom and shower water was never really cold and the shower stopped on our last morning - no water for a good 5 mins and the tap struggled too so we wondered if it was affected by other rooms using the water. Checking in was easy and the staff were welcoming. There were toiletries and towels provided, plus a kettle with tea and milk available. The room had a mini fridge which helped with chilling water. Room was clean and beds comfortable - from the pile of mattresses outside I think they have all been upgraded recently. No breakfast, but the Italian Cafe 'Farina & More' a few doors down is excellent. Great central location and not too noisy. Bonus feral foxes in the garden gave us some joy in the mornings.

Our stay here was an absolute nightmare. The room had no air conditioning, and while a fan was provided, it did nothing to combat the stifling heat, which felt like a genuine health risk. Trying to get ready for our event was miserable; we were constantly sweating, which ruined our hair, clothes, and makeup before we even left. Things only got worse when we returned late that night. The room was so overwhelmingly hot that I could only manage 2 to 3 hours of sleep, and I had to sit by the open window just to gather the strength to move. To top it off, the shower was filthy and completely lacked ventilation. Even taking a cold shower didn't help, as I would instantly start sweating again the second I dried off. This entire experience completely ruined the start of our event. By the next morning, the severe lack of sleep left me feeling incredibly nauseous and run down. Management seriously needs to address these condition for anyone dealing with a chronic illness, an environment like this is genuinely dangerous.

Everything about that hotel was terrible. The personnel was attentive, but only when they were there, because to find someone to talk to you have to get through three other hotels in the street. The shower was cold, the toilet didn’t flush, the beds were uncomfortable, and last but not least, we left the hotel with some new friends : bedbugs !

Stayed here for an event at the O2 empire. Check-in was straight forward and hassle free. the bathroom was clean with a nice shower cubicle. They even left a little welcome pack with shower gel, shampoo and a toothbrush and clean towels on the bed. A few things that could be improved on but on a whole it really wasnt a bad experience and I would stay again.
