Holiday Inn Express London Wandsworth

​⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value and incredibly convenient location! ​I had a fantastic stay here. The biggest selling point is definitely the location—it’s just a 4-minute walk to Wandsworth Town Station, making it incredibly easy to get into central London. The hotel sits right near the Thames, which makes for a lovely morning stroll. ​The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and equipped with a great power shower and comfortable beds. A huge bonus is the complimentary hot breakfast buffet included in the stay, which had a solid selection to get the day started. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful throughout. For a reliable, budget-friendly stay in London, you can't beat it. Will definitely stay here again!

We were genuinely amazed by this hotel. Booked for practical purposes, visiting family with no real requirements other than a good bed and parking. On arrival we were greeted by the most polite, well trained staff we've met in a while and this continued at the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast. So much so, we had to talk to Jake (duty manager) as we were so delighted with great service. Definitely going to be our hotel of choice when visiting our daughter nearby again. Superb staff making a difference.

The hotel is located near the Thames, 5 minutes from the train station, and has many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. It's in a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working, but with the fan and the window open, we didn't feel the need. Recommended for those who want to visit London without necessarily staying in the Westminster area. The breakfast selection is excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Holiday Inn Express London Wandsworth and would happily return. The customer service was excellent throughout. The reception, breakfast, and bar staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a king room, which made our stay even better. We checked in quite late at around 11pm and were impressed by the hotel’s security. The entrance doors were locked and could only be accessed with a key card or by being buzzed in by reception, which gave us extra peace of mind. The hotel was undergoing planned air conditioning maintenance, but this was clearly communicated before we booked, which we really appreciated. Although the air conditioning wasn’t operational during our stay, a fan was provided and, together with opening the windows, kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was great, with vegetarian sausages available on request. We arrived towards the end of service after a late night, but the team still looked after us without making us feel rushed. After checking out, the hotel also kindly stored our luggage (big shout out to Barney) while we explored London, which was a lovely touch. The only real drawbacks were the parking and the morning noise. Parking is operated by YourParkingSpace and, even with the hotel’s 25% discount, we still paid around £30 for roughly 18 hours, so it’s worth factoring into your budget. From around 8-9am until we checked out at 11am, housekeeping were repeatedly slamming room doors quite loudly while servicing rooms. My partner and I are both heavy sleepers, but the constant slamming still managed to wake us up, even though some of the doors were several rooms away. I suppose it did work as an alarm and got us up in time for breakfast and to check out! 😅 That said, a little more care when closing the doors, or improved soundproofing, would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The excellent customer service genuinely stood out and is what we’ll remember most. Thank you to the whole team- we’d be more than happy to stay again.
