Milestone Hotel Kensington

The Milestone gave us the most wonderful wedding celebration. We had our ceremony at Brompton Oratory, then walked across Hyde Park for champagne, canapés and lunch. It was intimate, relaxed and incredibly special. The staff are so thoughtful and kind, always anticipating what you need and making the whole experience feel effortless. We had a mixed party of 14 adults, 4 children and a baby, with a range of dietary requirements, and every single person was so well looked after. The food was sensational, from the canapés through to dessert, absolutely mouth-watering. There were also so many little touches throughout the day. Walking into our room to find the sweetest little cot with adorable duck bedding, a tiny robe and slippers for our baby was such a lovely surprise. Thank you, Emma, and the whole team, for making our wedding day so memorable.

We had a wonderful stay at The Milestone Hotel. The hospitality, food, and staff were all outstanding. Our room (301) was specious and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. We especially loved breakfast served in our room - fresh pastries, bowls of berries, perfectly poached eggs, and excellent coffee. A Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea was truly memorable and absolutely scrumptious. We enjoyed every treat. My 90 min massage with Jana was amazing. I highly recommend her for any type of massage & facial. She has magical hands, 20 years of experience, and extensive professional qualifications - you are in the right hands! Our heartfelt thanks to the General Manager, Andrew and the entire team for looking after us so well.

We attended high tea at the Milestone Hotel for an unforgettable experience. It was even beyond this. The level of service is unparalleled, the choice of teas will please any expert, and the food is exceptional. The staff will adapt the sandwiches and pastries to any dietary restriction you may have, making sure everyone has the best possible experience. The setting is also something to behold, parts of the hotel already existed over 300 years ago. The ambiance sets you back in victorian times at its most refined ways. Anyone may have a short list of "things to do before they die", and high tea at The Milestone should be near near the top of the list.

I booked this hotel because the service ratings set it apart from the alternatives, and now I understand why! I live in London and booked this for my 95 year old grandmother and my mother visiting me. I really wanted them to have a high quality luxury stay somewhere comfortable. Within moments of arriving, Steve, completely set the tone for the entire booking right at the door before we even stepped foot inside. He treated us with such warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness that it would have been impossible to not enjoy ourselves. He was personable without being performative, attentive without hovering, and he made my grandmother feel truly special in a way that people rarely take the time to do anymore and acted without us having ask a thing. In a time where hospitality can often feel rushed or impersonal, Steve reminded me what exceptional service actually is. He went above and beyond repeatedly, not because he had to, but because he clearly takes pride in caring for people. The front desk, room service and breakfast staff maintained an exceptional level a service throughout the stay in addition. The hotel itself is wonderful! It’s historic, quaint, cozy, with an excellent breakfast, incredible dinner, and fantastic room service. The food is fantastic! The rooms are clean, cozy and beautiful and feel more like a luxury residence than a hotel. Location is fabulous too, we took many summer strolls through Hyde park during the evenings after dinner. My mom will absolutely stay again the next time she visits. Steve and the rest of the staff made the experience unforgettable. Thank you!!
