About Novotel London Canary Wharf

Rising 39 floors above Marsh Wall, Novotel London Canary Wharf is a large modern tower with 313 rooms, built for skyline views rather than period charm. Many rooms look out over the river or the city, and the same vistas extend up to Bōkan, the rooftop bar, which draws a good crowd for evening drinks. Rooms themselves are clean and contemporary, with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and family options for those travelling with children.

Downstairs there's a restaurant serving breakfast and kids' meals, plus a snack bar, room service and an indoor pool with sauna and gym, useful for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or meetings in the on-site business and conference space. Staff are consistently noted for being helpful and going out of their way to sort out guest requests. Pets are welcome, though there's no parking on site.

The hotel sits within easy reach of Canary Wharf and the O2, with strong Tube and DLR connections making it simple to explore the rest of London without needing a car.

Business stay here in mid June. None of the Novotel's I use could be rated as lavish and are typically upper 3 star grade than 4 star, however they are all pretty much of the same consistent standard, and you certainly know what to expect. This Novotel is fairly well located near to Canary Wharf. On the plus side, the view from the 21st floor room was very good, and the view from the bar / restaurant at the top (36 / 37 floor?) is better. My room had the crustiest carpet that I have seen for years. It would not look out of place in a crusty night club after years of drink spills. Fittings in the bathroom were missing, and not replaced, revealing medium sized holds in the tiled walls. This was disappointing. The net curtains could also do with a service wash. Breakfast was a fairly standard buffet style affair that is typical of Novotels - and this was as good as any of them. I was a little bit peethed about being asked to vacate my table after I had eaten my breakfast to make room for others coming into the restaurant. Not in a rush to stay here again

My stay at Novotel was truly unforgettable. From my room, I enjoyed a stunning water view that created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. Waking up each morning to the beautiful scenery was a highlight of my visit. The swimming pool was spotless, refreshing, and perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The sauna was warm and soothing, providing a wonderful way to relax and recharge. The bar offered a stylish setting with excellent drinks and attentive service. Every member of staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. The reception team made check-in and check-out effortless, housekeeping maintained my room to the highest standard, and the breakfast staff were welcoming and efficient. The entire hotel was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. My overall experience was exceptional, and I look forward to returning for another luxurious and relaxing stay soon.

We stayed at your hotel in London from July 22nd to 25th. We felt incredibly comfortable from the very beginning. The room was first-class, the breakfast excellent, the view magnificent, and the bar fantastic. Absolutely superb. The Novotel will be our first choice for our next visit. Warm regards from Germany, Hans Jürgen Neuschulz

I was expecting a satisfaction survey that never came hence turning to google. I booked this hotel for 1 night to stay closer to a friend but specifically for the pool. I wasn’t advised in advance that it was under maintenance, and there was no compensation for it not being available. On top, they would charge for late checkout, which I had to use the pool issue as leverage not to pay.. and the recepcionist frowned upon my request! When it was really the main reason I chose it for, I would have happily stayed in another if it wasn’t for that! The room was ok, but as you can see in the pictures not the cleanest of them all. For the nightly price I would expect better quality, cleaning, and a better service or at least some sympathy at the reception, which I didn’t feel at all. Breakfast was nice but also, 50/50 some of them nice, others almost kicking you out. It’s a very moody staff. I do not recommend. If you want to checkout the view just go up to the restaurant have a good meal, cause that I must say looks good.
