I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt it was important to warn other travelers. Do not stay at this hotel. We booked a Deluxe Double Room, but it was so small that we couldn’t fully open the door or our suitcases unless they were placed on the bed. The room was also unbearably hot because the air conditioning wasn’t working. Opening the window wasn’t an option, as it overlooked a narrow alley with what appeared to be industrial air-conditioning equipment that was so loud it sounded like a plane taking off. At approximately 11:20 p.m., we called the front desk to request a room change. We were told someone would call us back within 10 minutes. After waiting over 30 minutes with no response, we called again and were told the hotel was fully booked except for two single rooms. Although this wasn’t ideal, we agreed because there was no way we could sleep in the original room. After another lengthy delay, we were instructed to bring all of our luggage down to reception, only to be escorted to two single rooms in a different area of the hotel with no elevator access and stained, filthy carpets. Unfortunately, the problems continued. The following day, the air conditioning in my mother’s room also stopped working. It took five phone calls before someone at the front desk finally answered. A maintenance employee came to the room, said he needed to get supplies and would return in 10 minutes, but he never came back. What was especially concerning was that our experience did not seem to be an isolated incident. Multiple times while walking past the front desk, we overheard other guests requesting room changes and making complaints about their stays. It was clear that many people were experiencing problems, and the staff appeared overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the volume of issues. Delays, poor communication, and unresolved maintenance problems made what should have been a comfortable stay incredibly frustrating. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel. There are far better places to stay in London.

Where do I start? First of all, this should not be a 4 star hotel. It wouldn't barely make a 3 star. Whoever awarded this rating should have their head examined. When we arrived to the hotel, they couldn't find our reservation even though it was booked and prepaid via booking.com. We were told to wait at their bar until they looked into it. The bar consisted of some plastic chairs in a lobby!! rooms were extremely small with a very small queen sized bed. The shower door cannot be opened fully preventing anyone to turn on the tap safely. I nearly ended up in the burns ward!!! The only good thing we liked was that it was close to Paddington station and luckily our air conditioning worked in our room...though from reports of other guest complaining, the rooms were like russian roulette. My advice, be aware before you book.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The air conditioning was advertised as one of the hotel’s services, but it was locked and we were unable to control or turn it on despite the extreme heat. The fan provided in the room was also far below an acceptable standard. We tried calling reception seven times from the phone in our room, and not a single call was answered. We also complained about the heat on three separate occasions and were repeatedly told that maintenance would be with us within a few minutes. We waited for over an hour, but nobody ever came. When we went out for the evening, we specifically requested that the fan be replaced and that the air conditioning issue be resolved. The manager assured us that everything would be sorted by the time we returned, although the interaction itself was not particularly pleasant or professional. Unfortunately, when we came back that night, nothing had changed. We were eventually moved to another room, where the air conditioning did work. However, the room was in the basement and had no internet connection, which created another issue. Overall, the lack of communication, poor response from reception, failure to address repeated complaints, and the fact that the advertised air conditioning could not be used made this a very uncomfortable and frustrating stay. While we appreciate that we were eventually moved to a room with working air conditioning, the overall experience fell well below what we would expect from a hotel.

As we were travelling a long distance, we stayed at the Park Grand Hotel London for one night. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Check-in was from 3:00 pm, and we had booked a twin room. However, on arrival we were told they only had double room available and our room was not even ready. We had to wait around 40 minutes before we could go in to our room. The service at reception was poor and the staff were not particularly helpful. The room itself was small and dusty. We were also disappointed that we were given a double room instead of the twin room we had booked. The following morning, there was no running water, so we were unable to shower. We tried calling reception several times, but no one answered. When we finally got through, we were told they were experiencing issues and that the problem would be resolved within five minutes. In reality, it took over an hour before the water returned and then the shower stopped working again. Breakfast was also disappointing. There was only a limited selection of food and once items had run out, they were not replenished. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. Poor customer service, issues with the room, lack of basic facilities and an underwhelming breakfast meant the hotel did not meet our expectations. I would not choose to stay here again.
