About St Pauls Hotel
St Pauls Hotel suits visitors who want a base with quick links into central London but prefer somewhere with a bit more personality than a standard chain stopover. Set on Hammersmith Road, it works equally well for a short business trip or a weekend of sightseeing, thanks to the transport connections nearby and the calmer pace of the area itself.
The 35 rooms have been styled with an eye for character, reflecting the building's older architecture, and guests get air conditioning and free WiFi as standard. Breakfast is a genuine highlight, and the bar carries a notably broad whiskey selection alongside its usual drinks list. There's also a restaurant on site, a garden for quieter moments, and meeting rooms and business services for anyone combining the trip with work. Concierge staff are on hand throughout, though service response times don't always match the warmth on offer.
Outside the hotel, Hammersmith Road puts guests within reach of local pubs, restaurants and other eateries, making it easy to fill evenings without travelling far. A lift serves all floors, and entertainment options nearby round out a stay that leans on convenience as much as character.
What guests say
A charming, historic hotel with a character rarely found among other tourist accommodations in the area. It is conveniently located about a 6–8 minute walk from the main Hammersmith station, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, although it does show some signs of wear consistent with the building’s age. Breakfast was very good, with à la carte options such as Eggs Benedict, which were delicious. The staff was consistently attentive and helpful. Daily room cleaning, however, could be improved.

Lovely spot for an afternoon get-together. The terrace is a little oasis in a busy city. Staff are friendly and good service. We have only visited for drinks so can't rate the rooms etc

Stayed in a loft room - understandably being close to the roof it was cold (in February) despite turning the ac up to the max, and a lot of heat leaves through the bathroom. Bathroom was very pretty. Cleanliness of decorative pillows, throws, and curtains were concerning, but otherwise the white bed linen was good. I took many chocolates from the front desk.
