About The Captain Cook Hotel
Eight rooms are all The Captain Cook Hotel has to offer, which makes it feel more like a well-run pub with beds upstairs than a conventional hotel. That pub kitchen is a genuine draw, turning out Sunday roasts alongside a Spanish tapas menu and a broad drinks selection, with a bar on site for guests who want to eat and drink without leaving the building.
Rooms are kept clean and comfortable, and rates are reasonable for the location in West London near Earls Court and South Kensington. Facilities extend well beyond what you would expect from such a small property, including a gym, spa and sauna, indoor swimming pool, meeting rooms, and even a wedding venue and childcare on request. Free WiFi, air conditioning, breakfast, and free on-site parking are all included, and staff offer porter, concierge, and valet services alongside luggage storage and laundry.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, which goes some way to explaining the welcoming atmosphere despite the compact size of the place. The surrounding area has restaurants, pubs, and entertainment nearby, making it a workable base for exploring this part of London without needing to travel far for a decent meal.

What guests say
I absolutely love this place, my friend and I went for the first time, the owner greeted us with open arms and told us about her boutique hotel and business. I’ve now been more than five times in the last few weeks, and it’s become a firm favourite. The team are so friendly and genuinely great at what they do. The food is unreal — consistently delicious. I’d give Captain Cook a million stars if I could and highly recommend!

Susie (the wonderful owner!) and Chloe provide incredible service! They really went above and beyond to make delicious cocktails for our large group, and were friendly and welcoming throughly! The food menu is delicious, and provides a welcome change to the average UK pub grub! With a Spanish influence, the tapas menu is varied and exciting - far above your average pub fare! Would highly recommend this pub!
