The hotel has 50 rooms, each en-suite and air-conditioned, with room service and drinks available to order. Public spaces carry the same classic English decoration, giving the place a country-house feel in the middle of South Kensington.

The Gore London – Starhotels Collision is a beautiful luxury boutique hotel with elegant Victorian-style interiors and exceptional hospitality. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Hyde Park, Kensington, the Royal Albert Hall, and convenient public transport. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend The Gore London – Starhotels Collezione for couples, families, business travelers, and anyone looking for a memorable stay in central London.

Great location, clean rooms, charming hotel. Unfortunately the price is not justified in my opinion. The rooms are really clean and charming. However, the rooms are uncomfortably small. Due to the old building it was a struggle to turn off the tap, sometimes we had to try it three times until the water would finally stop. This only being side notes- the service does not meet my expectations at all! We had breakfast at the hotel every morning of our stay. The service was really lacking and not welcoming at all. Staff seemed untrained and unmotivated. No matter if it was busy or if it was quite empty in the restaurant. The cappuccino was really bad, food was often cold, we had to add that we wanted it warm when ordering. Sometimes we had to wait 10 minutes for our orange juice, when we asked if it was arriving, we were told “i dont know if you ordered”. Toast took ages as well, no one cleaned the empty plates on our table…. Just really disappointed with the service. Maybe a buffet and ordering from the card on top of that would be easier for staff. So guests dont have to wait ages for their juice, toast and pastries and can get it themselves. In addition to this unpleasant answer: We never criticized the Victorian style of the hotel. As stated in our original review, we found the property to be very impressive and full of character. Our comments regarding breakfast were not based on a single experience. As mentioned, the staff did not make us feel welcome during our stay. This is, of course, our personal experience and therefore a valid part of our review. We did not raise these concerns at check-out because doing so would not have changed our overall impression that the hotel did not provide value commensurate with the price charged. Furthermore, at the end of our stay, we were presented with a £200 service fee, which we requested to be removed from our bill.

Excellent stay at The Gore! My wife and I stayed for two nights at The Gore in London, and we were very happy with our visit. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, which we really appreciated. It is perhaps a little bit off the beaten track, but that also added to the calm atmosphere. The weather was unusually cold for the season, so the thick curtains by the windows were very useful and made the room feel warm and comfortable. The only small drawback was that they also blocked out some of the natural light. Above all, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. We would gladly stay here again.

I absolutely loved our stay here. It is truly in the best location, it’s nice and quiet and then you can walk to the fun parts! We always went to partridges to get groceries / water which is a 3 minute walk! We loved some pubs around there and also had a great Italian dinner at Demario up the street 10/10. The food at the hotel for lunch was absolutely delicious and they make incredible cocktails. The vibe of this hotel is out of this world. It’s elegant, classy, homey and the decor is stunning! I felt like we were staying in a movie :). The beds are amazing, the space in our room was fantastic! I highly encourage getting a suite. The staff - is incredible!!!! Amazing attendance to anything we needed. They allowed us to check in early (thankfully after a long long flight!!!). Shout out to George at front desk, he’s awesome! Also thank you to the bar staff. Everyone was delightful. I will 100% be back at some point and I can’t wait to stay here again :).
