About The Ritz London
Facing the open lawns of Green Park along Piccadilly, The Ritz London occupies one of the capital's most storied addresses in the heart of Mayfair. The setting alone sets the tone: a wide, handsome street with the park's greenery opposite, and Piccadilly Circus within easy reach for those who want to venture further into the city.
The hotel's 136 rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, room service and drinks provided, with family and accessible rooms available alongside a bridal suite for those celebrating something special. Guests have access to a restaurant, bar, gym, spa and sauna, plus breakfast, concierge, porter and laundry services, along with meeting rooms and a garden for quieter moments. The afternoon tea is a particular highlight, with a proper spread of sandwiches, pastries and scones served alongside a broad choice of teas in surroundings that make full use of the hotel's ornate, gilded decor. Staff are consistently attentive and well-practised in the kind of formal, personal service the building's reputation demands.
Beyond the doors, Mayfair's restaurants, bars and entertainment are all within walking distance, making it a solid base for exploring central London. It remains a popular choice for marking occasions, weddings included, given the on-site bridal suite and wedding venue facilities.
What guests say
It was a very special birthday and we decided to go to the Ritz to celebrate. The moment we arrived the staff treated us like royalty. Everyone was helpful and the service was outstanding. It was the best afternoon tea we have ever had due to the service, quality of food and taste, the beautiful dining area and feeling so at home. It’s great value for money and a memorable experience that we will never forget. Thank you

We came to the Ritz for my SEND son's birthday who made allowances for the dresscode for his needs, thank you. You catered for his sandwich needs in the children's afternoon tea but the choice of cakes were not really child friendly, they were the same as the adults and if I didn't like the dark chocolate patisserie ball, as it was quite bitter, my son wouldn't even eat it. It would have been good to offer cordial for children other than tea or juice. It was beautiful that the pianist played a request of 'Perfect Day' by Lou Reed which gave me memories of my wedding day. The waiters were attentive but definitely seemed more attentive to obvious overseas tourists on other tables and 3 times I had to ask for a take home box whilst other tables were just brought them. We did enjoy the day and it was certainly a memory to remember, it just felt that in a world where we are all supposedly equal we didn't feel equal and I left feeling like the poor relation.

Today we went as a family of 8 to share our Dad's birthday. The atmosphere and ambience was just perfect, plus the service and food was amazing. From the moment we approached the entrance, the staff on the door were highly respectful, but gave that human personal touch, which is vital, they immediately put myself and my husband at ease. Thank you to The Ritz for making my Dad's birthday feel so special for him, and for us as a family too.

We were treated to a stay here and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. Our suite was incredible, beautifully presented and far more luxurious than we expected. It was the kind of place you just don’t want to leave. Afternoon tea was another highlight, with a great selection, generous portions, and really attentive service throughout. We also spent some time in the cocktail lounge enjoying food and drinks, and everything was spot on. The atmosphere, quality, and service all stood out. Overall, it was a truly special stay that we’ll always remember, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high end, memorable hotel experience.
