About The Rubens At The Palace
Buckingham Palace Road puts guests within easy reach of Victoria Station and the sights around the Palace itself, and The Rubens At The Palace sits directly opposite the Royal Mews, making the most of that central London position. The hotel has 161 rooms, all en-suite with air conditioning, and family and accessible rooms are available alongside a bridal suite and VIP facilities for those marking an occasion.
The look throughout is classic British, with rooms kept spotless and staff regularly praised for going out of their way to help. Food and drink options run from a proper breakfast and afternoon tea to more varied choices at The Curry Room and the New York Bar, giving guests reason to eat in rather than head out. Beyond the restaurant and bar, there's an indoor swimming pool, gym, and spa or sauna, plus a garden, meeting rooms and business services for those combining work with the stay.
Practical extras include porter and concierge services, valet parking, room service, laundry service, and luggage storage, while childcare can be arranged and pets are welcome. With Victoria Station close by and Buckingham Palace on the doorstep, it's a well-placed base for exploring central London on foot or by rail.

Excellent hotel! The staff are courteous and always willing to help. There are plenty of team members available to assist at all times. The breakfasts are fantastic. The room is clean and fully equipped with every amenity you might need. A special mention to the doorman, Robert — respectful, pleasant, and truly customer-focused. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at The Rubens at the Palace! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and classic London character, and the location couldn’t have been better. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help, making our family feel so well taken care of, especially Robert. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the level of hospitality throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend The Rubens to anyone visiting London! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This hotel was amazing. I was completely shocked at how small the rooms were given how much money we were paying per night. Fortunately, we knew one of the managers or owners and they upgraded us. I guess because London is not very big, you're really paying through the nose to be in a great location and indeed, we were across the street from Buckingham Palace. The service was amazing. Everyone at the hotel was so nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They couldn't do enough for you. We had the English breakfast a few times and it was sensational. I highly recommend this hotel

We had an amazing experience there with a gift voucher given to us for Christmas. My only concern was that the staff all looked amazing very smart very friendly and attentive but some of the clientele were not smart enough for an establishment like Ruben’s. It clearly states no polo shirts and only tailored shorts , trousers and shirts to be worn. Entry would be in the discretion of the hotel. We travelled from the coast and I still wore a dress my husband wore trousers and a nice shirt and proper shoes it was extremely hot but we did what was stated in the hotels conditions.
