About The Clermont Victoria
Step into one of the 348 rooms at The Clermont Victoria and you'll find air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, a mini bar and in-room drinks laid on as standard, with family and accessible rooms available for those who need them. The building rises across seven floors, with a lift serving all levels, and rooms are noted for staying quiet despite the hotel's busy setting right on Buckingham Palace Road.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, along with a breakfast buffet that guests consistently single out for its range and quality. Kids meals, room service and laundry service cover the practical side of a stay, while a gym, business services, meeting rooms and a wedding venue extend the hotel's use well beyond an overnight stop. Concierge staff are on hand for local recommendations, and luggage storage is useful for those with trains to catch. Service is generally well regarded, though it isn't always consistent from visit to visit.
The location is the hotel's strongest card: Victoria Station is directly accessible from the property, making onward travel across London or beyond straightforward, and Buckingham Palace is close by. There's no parking on site, so this suits guests arriving by rail or on foot rather than by car, and the surrounding streets offer plenty of restaurants, pubs and entertainment for the evening.

What guests say
We just took our first trip to London and could not have picked a better hotel to spend our first 10 nights in Europe. The hotel literally has an internal entrance from the Victoria Train Station, which is super convenient for daily travel on the Underground and train access. You are within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other attractions. There are a ton of great pubs and restaurants near the hotel, including a Food Hall across the street, and the hotel also has a great restaurant (The Soak) and another bar inside, which has great service and is never crowded. The rooms are plenty spacious, and has cold AC and high speed WIFI! From the moment that we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the hotel left us cupcakes and a bottle of Prosecco in our room. The rooms come with a complimentary stocked mini bar, which is huge. I also recommend purchasing the breakfast with your room as well, which is fantastic. We are in Paris now for a few days, but head back to London for one day before returning to the US. We chose to go back to Clermont for our last night in London. They were also so kind and watched a few of our bags until we return from our trip to London. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London. Trust me, you'll love this beautiful hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at The Clermont Hotel in Victoria. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and full of character, and the location is very convenient for visiting London. My room was lovely and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both The Soak restaurant and the breakfast buffet, which were great quality. The service throughout my stay was excellent, but I especially want to thank Lavinia. She was incredibly kind, warm, and professional, and made my stay feel very special. During my first visit, she gave me great recommendations for places to visit in London, and we had a lovely conversation about travel. When I returned for a second stay, she remembered me and even sent champagne to my room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I would happily stay at The Clermont Victoria again and recommend it to anyone visiting London.

Stayed here with my best friend, celebrating our 50th birthdays. The hotel was gorgeous, the staff were amazing. Faris checked us in and helped us out many times during our stay, from helping with tech issues to getting ice for my friends ankle. He even helped us call a local restaurant to see about takeaway. He was very kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also fantastic. We left a note asking for extra coffee, and only still water and they delivered. Our room was taken care of every day but it didn't feel intrusive, nor did it feel like we were getting the bare minimum. The luggage porters were kind and very helpful, grabbing our bags for us when we came in, and watching out for our Uber when we left. The breakfast was great, the restaurant (The Soak) was very nice, and the bar Reunion had excellent drinks. Will definitely come back next time I'm in London. I highly recommend this location, fornthe service and extremely easy access to the underground, national rail, and buses.

Great location and wonderful historic hotel. Beautiful lobby. Service was exceptional and Libby helped us tremendously with check-in, upgrade and room availability. Well done. While a typically a small European room, the commode in the bathroom had an extremely tight access. That’s why rated a 4.
