About Travelodge London Greenwich

A bar and restaurant on site means guests at Travelodge London Greenwich can get a meal or a drink without leaving the building, and drinks are also available in the rooms for anyone settling in for the evening. It's a straightforward, no-frills setup rather than a destination dining spot, but it does the job for an overnight stay or a longer city break.

The hotel has 50 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and accessible rooms are available. A lift serves all floors, and reception is staffed around the clock, so late arrivals aren't an issue. Some guests have found rooms noisy or not as clean as expected, so it's worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper. Pets are welcome, and there's free on-site parking, including an electric vehicle charge point, for anyone driving in - just register your vehicle at reception.

Blackheath Road puts guests within reach of the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark and the Maritime Museum, and there are pubs, bars and other entertainment nearby, plus a KFC close by for a quick bite. The location near shops and public transport makes it easy to get into central London or explore Greenwich itself, and staff are on hand to help with directions or recommendations.

The hotel is nice as all other travelodges and the staff were lovely! We stayed 2 nights for a concert in the o2 arena which is like a 45 min walk away for me and my partner. However, we couldn’t sleep at all because of the constant police sirens and cars beeping and loud motorcycles ALL DAY AND NIGHT, which of course isn’t the hotels fault at all but it was just impossible to sleep. Also because it was so so hot in the hotel (I think they keep their heating on most of the time) and we had to keep the windows open which made the outside noise so much worse. I would probably choose a travelodge in a better area next time.

Room is clean but it’s so warm, there’s no AC, only a small fan. We went in June the weather was quite chilly but the room is like sauna. Toilet is clean also but no hair dryer need to ask the receptionist for one if needed. In addition thank you for the receptionist who picked up the food delivery for us, we were stuck in traffic, amazing service

Our bed was very squeaky which kept us up a bit, no plug sockets beside the bed apart from USB which was annoying. Didn't get any other extra stuff like breakfast so I'm not sure. Overall an okayish place to stay if you need somewhere to stay while travelling.

Well presented travel lodge close to shops and the DLR. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful where required. Room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Lovely little coffee shop along the road that’s well worth a visit.
