The male receptionist who worked on 14 June and assisted with my check-in around 16:15 was not friendly at all. I booked a single room for three nights, but the room was arranged on the lower ground floor. Since this was my first visit to London, I kindly asked the receptionist to confirm whether my room was in the basement. Unfortunately, his response was not pleasant — he neither smiled nor spoke in a warm or welcoming manner during our conversation. I felt extremely unwelcome during my first stay at this hotel. Please treat your guests with more enthusiasm, or at least with a positive attitude. You can do better! Luckily the rest of the experience during my stay here was great. There has been buzzing sounds happening in my room and it’s very annoying. The housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day, and the breakfast service was excellent. Overall, I really appreciated the hospitality and the clean, tidy room and comfortable bed.

I have to say that I enjoyed my stay here. I had a single room which was exactly as advertised. The bathroom was minuscule with no place for toiletries. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was good. The bed was not particularly comfortable, but that could have been because I'm used to sleeping on a queen size mattress - not a single mattress. The breakfast was great! The hotel is immaculate and I felt totally safe staying here. The neighborhood is fun and a convenient place to stay. The price was correct. I would stay here again and certainly recommend it.

Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very small, just a bed with a small walkway on one side and the bathroom is cramped too. Room would be comfortable for one person but is a little small with two people plus bags/cabin cases. Location is good, it’s a little far out of the city but there is a tube station less than 4min walk away which has direct links to the city.
