We had a lovely stay at The Mandeville. The decor and rooms are beautifully appointed — chic, boutique, and full of quirky charm, with a traditional British feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during a surprisingly hot week in London. The staff truly made the stay — exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful at every turn. Just note that amenities are limited to the on-site bar/restaurant, and room service wasn’t available during our stay, so this isn’t the spot for guests wanting a full-service amenities experience. Where the hotel really shines is location. You’re steps from Marylebone High Street, close to the Tube, and within easy reach of Mayfair, plus excellent shopping and dining right outside the door. The Ivy, Selfridges, coffee shops, are all right at your doorstep. Highly recommend The Mandeville if you want a boutique hotel with charm and character, an unbeatable location, and charming rooms and restaurant — and don’t mind a lighter touch on amenities.

Don’t bother. Save your money and your sleep. I came to The Mandeville for a night’s rest and got an all night soundtrack instead. No idea what was happening in the walls, but it was loud enough that sleep simply wasn’t on the table. For a hotel charging these prices, that’s not a minor hiccup, it’s a basic failure of the one thing you’re actually paying for. When I mentioned it at checkout, I got the standard hospitality script: a polite email afterward, an apology, a vague promise that maintenance would “look into it.” Then the punchline. Their grand gesture for ruining my stay was 18% off and a possible upgrade, but only if I come back and give them another chance to disappoint me. They didn’t fix the problem I paid for. They tried to upsell me on a second one. This isn’t customer care, it’s damage control dressed up in nice stationery. If the best a hotel can offer after a sleepless night is a coupon contingent on more of your money, they’re not sorry, they’re just hoping you won’t tell anyone. Consider this me telling everyone. Oh and if you reply to their half baked apology of an apology you will get zero response from Reception Manager Amar

The Mandeville Hotel is our home away from home. Perfect location in bustling Marylebone, convenient to all central London locations from the West End to British Museum, Knightsbridge, South London, and rail stations. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, commodious with excellent bathrooms — shower and bath. Despite its location in the heart of W1, the rooms are quiet and the atmosphere serene. But, what truly makes the Mandeville a five star experience is the phenomenal staff — genial, attentive, super-helpful. Our return to the hotel has always been like meeting up with old, good friends. Razvan, Madi, and others are wonderful. Special plaudits however to Nikita — always affable, always expert and professional, always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Get ready, Mandeville, we’ll be back soon!

This was our second stay at the Mandeville Hotel, and once again, it was an excellent experience. The location, facilities, and service are outstanding. We would especially like to thank Mrs. Sushma for her exceptional service at breakfast. Her kindness, warmth, and professionalism made every morning a pleasure. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel.
