Burnt Umber is different gravy. Had the čevapi Balkan sausage with bread, lettuce, and both the four-cheese and traditional sauces. Outrageous.Partner went shakshuka with homemade garlic bread. Rich, deep, and properly comforting. Coffee’s top tier too. The owners are beautiful people and you can taste the quality. They’re using seriously good ingredients. If you haven’t been yet, sort your life out and go.

I was in town visiting my sister, she said she knew a great place for brunch, we ventured, we crossed canals and traversed mucky terrain. We approached that place...it was closed. Thankfully, we found our way to Burnt Umber and life was good again. The decor is classy and comfy, the staff member was nice and friendly and the food, oh the food. I went random kinda healthy, trying the Kimchi pancake with a couple of eggs on the side, absolutely delicious. Sis had the balkan breakfast - loved it. Great to try something different, next time will go in the evening and go full Serbian - the grill platter looks oooweeee!

Had the Sunday Roast here and it was honestly amazing—so flavorful and perfectly done. The place itself is beautiful, super cozy and aesthetic, and the whole area around the restaurant is definitely worth visiting too. The staff were all so sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’m genuinely obsessed and will 100% be back! 🌷

So glad I discovered this place! The food is absolutely delicious – you can really tell how much care goes into every dish. As a real coffee lover, I have to say their coffee is easily the best I’ve had in a long time; it was exactly to my taste and perfectly brewed. We also tried the Sunday roast which was superb, and it’s great to see such high-quality vegan / vegetarian food options on the menu too. Finishing the meal with some authentic Balkan Rakija was a brilliant touch. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
