Quick bite after the theatre and what a fantastic find! Patara Wimbledon is a really lovely spot with a modern, clean interior and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The food was genuinely outstanding. The Pad Thai was easily one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, full of flavour and cooked beautifully. It was definitely up there with some of the best Thai food I’ve tried. The corn fritters and spring rolls were absolute perfection; crispy, fresh and packed with flavour. Even the prawn crackers stood out — super fresh, crispy and incredibly tasty. What really elevated the experience was the service. Simon was exceptional from start to finish — friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome throughout the evening. Très bien! Fresh food, great service, stylish surroundings and a brilliant atmosphere. A perfect pre- or post-theatre dinner spot in Wimbledon. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked in, this Thai restaurant delivered an unforgettable experience for my wife, son, and me. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of authentic charm, making it the perfect place for a family dinner. The staff treated us like family from start to finish, and their attention to detail made the evening feel extra special. The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The balance of spices, sweetness, and freshness was spot on — easily some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. My wife couldn’t stop talking about how rich and authentic the flavors were, and even my son cleaned his plate, which says everything! From the appetisers to the main courses, every bite was packed with quality and care, not to mention the extraordinary desserts. What truly stood out was how the restaurant created an experience, not just a meal. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food, outstanding service, and such a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere all in one. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine and a place that makes you feel genuinely welcomed, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone who appreciates fantastic food and exceptional hospitality.

I had an amazing time at Patara Wimbledon's buffet! They offer a fantastic variety of Thai dishes, from flavorful starters to authentic noodles and spicy Som Tum (papaya salad) by P'chai. Everything was delicious, and I left feeling completely stuffed—totally worth every penny! Don't miss out on the Thai desserts, especially the Khanom Thuai (coconut custard); it’s a must-try. Plus, the manager is incredibly kind and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving a real Thai feast!

We had the Prawn Penang and Lamb Shank (pictured) from their Wednesday buffet mains menu. It was a really enjoyable dinner and we were very full having had the all you can eat starters which had 6/7 different warm dishes and that’s on top of the soup/noodles selection as well. We would highly recommend!
