A hidden gem tucked away inside the auction house. Sotheby’s Café is the perfect spot for a quiet coffee, light breakfast, or lunch surrounded by amazing artwork. Wonderful dining experience here! Soup of the day was amazing. Sea bass was delicious, battered zucchini flowers were out of the world! Lemon cake was lip smacking delicious and went perfectly with the tea! Highly recommended.

Rather small and cramped, but nicely fitted out. Service is of a high professional quality, but it’s not what you’d call welcoming, even when they’re uncrowded. Choices of teas is excellent, but latte coffees are much better elsewhere and nearby. The scrambled eggs for breakfast are beautifully cooked, yet the formulaic slices of toast don’t do them justice. Overall, it’s pretty pricey - round £35 all in - for scrambled eggs (admittedly with mushrooms or smoked salmon) and a hot drink for two of us.
