About No 5 Maddox Street

Every one of the twelve suites at No 5 Maddox Street comes with its own kitchen and separate living room, some with balconies, which makes this Maddox Street address feel closer to a private residence than a conventional hotel. It's a small, upmarket property where the scale keeps things personal rather than corporate.

Guests have use of a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast, a gym, garden and free WiFi throughout. Practical extras run to air conditioning, a lift, luggage storage, porter and concierge services, plus meeting rooms and business facilities for those combining work with the stay. Free on-site parking is also available, which is a genuine rarity in this part of London.

The location puts guests within reach of restaurants, pubs and entertainment nearby, with Charing Cross station accessible for onward travel and Chessington World of Adventures noted as a further-flung point of interest. With just twelve suites, the hotel suits those wanting space and self-catering options alongside full hotel service.

Amazing spot for a good price. Right on regents street for shopping and sight seeing. The only downside was no lifts so lots of stairs to get to rooms so if your not fit book a lower floor. Other than that highly recommend.

Marvellous Maddox! Amazing location on a very pretty street. Warm welcome by the reception team. Apartment 12 on the 5th floor was delightful. Bright and lovely design. Comfortable and luxurious. Extra touches and gifts were really great. Slight -ve is that there are no bounds in the kitchen/diner/study so the close offices can see in.

I would not recommend. We are due to stay in a few days and just had our reservation cancelled. They said it was because of repairs that needed to happen to a boiler, which may be true. But, I built our entire trip around this location. Thankfully, Expedia is helping us. This does not appear to be the first time they cancelled last minute.

Booking this hotel via expedia was very misleading. I arrived at 9pm with no reception available to help. No mention that I can easily find, pre booking, that there is noone available on site to help outside working hours. Ryan answered the door bell quite frustrated and asked me to look into my emails for instructions on how to get into my room, or call again. There is no lift. No room can be accessed without stairs. I was booked on a room on the second floor which had no available keys to get me in. Ryan after some time sent to the 4th floor, with a large suitcase and no ability to climb the steps. Unless you want airbnb experience and willing to climb the long stairs with your suitcases, i would not book this place.
