What diners say
Been here with my wife on a Monday evening for lunch and left amazed with the mood and how classic the atmosphere is. We had fish and chips -which were great- chicken wings covered in delicious hot sauce and 2 pints of beer. The prices aren't too too high compared to other bars but expect to spend a higher than decent amount for a dinner which is I think worth all. The Blue Anchor lager brewed only for this bar is a must try, you definitely can't miss that one!

Love I hear and the burgers are delicious! This is a lovely spot along the river, we went during winter but I can imagine it’s a stunning spot in the summer too - especially with the outdoor seating. I really great wine selection and the burgers are 10/10. I had the Camembert one and I loved it, it was genuinely one of the best beef burgers I have had (usually I’m more of a chicken burger person but this may have converted me!). My two friends had the vegan burger, one absolutely loved it, the other wasn’t too sure. So mixed opinions on that one. I would recommend a reservation. I hope to be back!

Stopped by for lunch. It was a quiet November day and not overly busy. Efficient service, good beer, and lunch was solid. I went with the steak & Guinness pie - it was well worth the wait. I'll definitely make my way back again. It's interesting to see the Thames a bit farther out and it's a nice spot to walk along the banks.

A very warm welcome on a very soggy day. Food was excellent so good my wife ate her whole meal which she'll normally share. Tried there own pale ale which was very nice.
