What diners say
We had a lovely dinner here. It gets very busy and it’s a fairly small space, but all staff were very attentive and Kamal who looked after us was especially helpful! I had the haddock and it was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was also really good. It’s not your average chippy and the price point makes for a more special occasion/once in a while meal, but I’d recommend giving it a try!

Buzzing up market chippy. Very attentive service. Popular place, lots of tourists but food of good quality and decent size portion. At first £26.99 for fish and chips seems a lot but then it can feed two people, plus it’s Mayfair and just off the busy highstreet so to be expected!

One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fish was fresh, crispy, and incredibly delicious. The person with me never eats fish, but they tried it here and genuinely loved it. I really appreciated that they offer a halal option, which is what we ordered. The sauces were good, but the tartar sauce was definitely the perfect match for the dish. We were lucky to get in without waiting, but right after we sat down, a long queue started forming behind us, which shows how popular the place is. The service was excellent, especially Miguel. It was a very hot and sunny day, and when we asked for extra ice, he brought it quickly so we could enjoy a cold drink while waiting for our food. This is a meal I’ll remember every day when I return home, and I can’t wait to have it again. Highly recommended!

We’d heard great things about this place from loads of people. The online booking was a bit of a hassle, and the queue was fairly long, so we ended up getting takeaway. The hake was gorgeous and came with tartar sauce, pea purée, and curry sauce. We loved all three. The chips didn’t really do it for us, but the fish more than made up for it. Plenty there to share, and I’d love to come back for the crab sandwich and mussels next time.
