What visitors say
Stayed in their new glamping tents for one night. Lots of room for three people inside the tent. Only a 10-minute walk to a beautiful seawall, so great for fishing adventures. Toilets and showers are very clean and in a lovely location. Will definitely be back.

Relaxed campsite with all the amenities. Large fields where you can pitch up where you like- you pay per person rather than tent/ gazebo. Toilet block and showers are kept clean and there’s a basic shop on site. Campfires allowed and there’s a play park for kids. We found it on the pricey end £90 for 2 nights for a family of 4 but we’d recommend it overall and would go back

I have downgraded my review to 1 star after our second day here. England are playing I get it. Don't mind the ambient noise from people's speakers and chatter and excitement about it. What has bothered us teenagers cycling through our camp on e-bikes and e-scooters at 20+ mph with a trumpet while we are trying to wind down after dark. The security guard was useless to be frank because he couldn't keep up with the teens on the ebike. If this were a push bike it wouldn't have gone on for 2 hours because they physically wouldn't be able to cycle for that long. Furthermore they were yelling at people 'is it annoying' so they knew exactly what they were doing and were being antagonistic on purpose. Security couldn't do anything about it because it's dark and they're going by so fast. Parents should be watching them really as they nearly cycled into our campfire. Toilets and facilities have been kept very clean. Original review: Lovely campsite. Dog friendly which is great. It's great they allow fires...however we have seen some rather large bonfires on the grass and can't help but think this is a bad idea with the recent hot weather + alcohol but I guess they've not had issues before. They seem a pretty chill campsite overall and the field is super flat. Toilet and shower facilities seem clean but the test is always after a night of children needing to use the loo. The thing which we are not enjoying and haven't experienced at other campsites is the scooters and electric bikes whizzing past. They're going all evening and they're surprisingly noisy. We've also witnessed a few near collisions and have had children on electric scooters and bikes just deciding to go through our camp. Also the first morning we saw a little girl on an ebike crash and go flying. She must have been going 20-30mph. Shes lucky she didn't really hurt herself she was about 7. It seems crazy to allow the e-bikes when they go above the speed of 5mph for the campsite. Don't mind them having fun and normal scooters wouldn't be going by so fast or as noisy.

Excellent campsite for first night solo in campervan in the winter! Reasonably priced & all facilities - hard standing weather necessitated, EHU, water & waste disposal! Manned reception impressive! Good clean showers & toilet block essential! Within walking distance of olde worlde locals' pub with great food ale & choice of wines! A dark lonesome walk back at night in winter naturally so took a cab! Worth it! Lovely cab drivers too! Great location close to water & gravel walks! Quiet site at this time of year! Just the calls of the marsh birds!
