About Muddycreek Campsite
Set on the edge of the New Forest near Milford on Sea, Muddycreek Campsite keeps things refreshingly simple. Fifty spacious grass pitches spread across open ground give you room to breathe, and campfires are positively encouraged – a rarity that campers genuinely appreciate. Hot showers stay reliably hot, facilities are kept clean, and the resident ponies add a quirky charm (bring carrots if you fancy making friends).
The village and beach are both an easy walk away, making this a cracking base for coastal paths and forest rambles. Staff are relaxed and helpful, prices are fair, and the whole place has an unpretentious, outdoorsy feel. Facilities are basic – no hook-ups, no WiFi – so it suits those happy to rough it a little in exchange for space, fires, and a genuine sense of escape.

What visitors say
Lovely relaxed campsite, aimed at families and couples rather than large mixed groups. Plenty of space for kids to run around and play without disturbing other campers. Facilities are good; the showers look a bit basic at first glance but in fact they were lovely and hot and better than a lot of hotel showers! Location can't be beaten; peaceful but within a short walk of the village and with loads to do in the area.

Lovely atmosphere campsite. Owners very helpful. Showers are not fancy looking but have tons of hot water and pressure (would recommend flip flops as decking hard on sensitive soles :) ) Loos kept very clean. Dogs welcome, and numerous, so I recommend a hitch post by tents, and need to be on lead at all times. People very good about observing quiet time at 10pm so very restful nights. Freezers for ice packs available. Also once a day you get to feed the ponies! Highly recommend.

Excellent friendly pop up camp site. Nice showers and “proper” toilet facilities. Lovely pizzas on Fridays and a really happy vibe. Situated just outside the beautiful village of Milford-on Sea, it’s perfectly situated for both the seaside and all amenities you could want.

Quiet and relaxed. Free rein in pitching so you can choose the ideal spot. Amenities are basic as expected for the type of site but kept clean and in good working order. Close to the beach and Hurst Castle among other attractions. Good value.
