We stayed here for a long weekend in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary. That proved to be a great decision. The hotel was completely refurbished a year or two ago to a very high standard. It's located on the High Street and from the front you get no clue as to it's overall size. In fact the are many rooms, all of which are quite individual and which extend a long way back into the gardens. We had a garden view room which was lovely. The outside areas are also extensive with outdoor seating, eating areas and a full outdoor bar set up at the far end of the property. Service was excellent, whether in the bar, the coffee shop restaurant or the main restaurant. Food quality was high in all the restaurants and pricing was sensible relative to the quality delivered. Our room was very clean and comfortable and well serviced. The hotel team did a great job and we were very well looked after. I have no doubt that we will be going back in the future.

Popped in for a quick lunch for 1. I was a lone female, I was told I could sit wherever I liked so I chose the courtyard. The sun was shining, the staff were lovely and friendly. I ordered a prawn open sandwich, a strawberry lemonade and a skinny capachino of which everything was first class. The prawn sandwich and chips were outstanding. I also went to the restroom which was clean, well stocked and smelt lovely. I will definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Had breakfast here with our electrical team after pre-booking a private room, and it worked perfectly for us. The breakfast was excellent with quality ingredients, and the service was friendly throughout. Lovely hotel with a great feel. Being dog friendly was a nice bonus too. Big thanks to Josie for looking after us so well.

I visited stanwell house in the garden area, for drinks and nibbles on 20th June. The place was amazing. Food really tasty. What can I say about the staff . Very welcoming, polite, friendly and attentive. I wish, we could have stayed longer, but we were just day visitors. My friend and I would love to return for an overnight visit.
