Cottage By The Quay occupies the Tudor-era core of a semi-detached building beside Lymington's quay. You get the whole place to yourself, with two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), two bathrooms, and a ground floor arranged around an open-plan living and kitchen area. There's a shared walled garden, quiet and tucked away despite being steps from the working harbour and all its activity.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric hob, combi oven, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer included. Upstairs, the main bedroom has an ensuite bath. Books and board games are scattered through the cottage; wi-fi and all essentials like bed linen and towels are provided. The property doesn't allow smoking.
Lymington's high street, with its shops, cafés and restaurants, is a two-minute walk. Fish mongers are nearby, and the ferry to the Isle of Wight runs from the harbour. Beyond the immediate area, the New Forest spreads out with ponies, cattle, wandering paths and cycle routes. Within reach are Beaulieu, Exbury Gardens and Bucklers Hard; further afield lie Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, and the Dorset and Hampshire coasts. Coffee & Drift is within walking distance.
