About Wildwood B&B
Lymington sits between the New Forest and the Solent coast, with Buckler's Hard and Hurst Castle both within reach for a day out, and Wildwood B&B makes a convenient base for exploring either. Located on Station Road, it offers free on-site parking, which is useful given the town's popularity with visitors.
Rooms are en-suite and come with drinks facilities, and breakfast is included each morning. Guests have access to a garden and free WiFi, and reception is staffed around the clock for flexible arrivals. It's a straightforward, comfortable set-up rather than a place full of extras, but it covers the essentials well.
Beyond the B&B, the surrounding area suits walkers, riders and anglers, with fishing, horse riding and marked walking routes all nearby, plus a golf course for those who fancy a round. Pubs, restaurants and other entertainment are within easy reach too, making it simple to spend an evening out without travelling far.

What guests say
This was our 2nd stay at Wildwood B&B, staying in 'Copper Beech' room this time for 3 nights (19th - 21st April 2026)... The accommodation offers onsite parking, Sway railway station a few minutes away and is served by convenience stores nearby. It is conveniently situated on the edge of the New Forest with quick and easy access to villages, towns and the coast... Host-Tanya is lovely, incredibly helpful and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble... Breakfast menu choices was required to be submitted by 6pm the evening before. I personally am not in favour of this setup as I might feel differently in the morning, but I do fully understand that it helps with kitchen preparation & reduces waste. The breakfast was relaxing, overlooking Tanya's well stock beautiful garden full of wonder visiting birds, accompanied by background 1940/50's music softly playing from Tanya's vinyl collection. The hot breakfast was freshly cooked using locally soured produce - Very tasty... The continental was also a good choice. We stayed in 'Copper Beech' room this visit and like 'Silver Birch' room on our last visit, we found both rooms and en-suites to be immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable and well equipped. The tea trolley in our room was stocked with a wide range of hot drink sachets, homemade cookies and a couple of sweets, replenished daily. On the landing outside the two rooms is a fridge for guests to use, containing a bottle of fresh milk and water labelled with each room name, there is also a sideboard with spare items, if needed... To conclude:- In our opinion Wildwood B&B is a little gem, everything was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean with a friendly atmosphere. Tanya's attention to details and her thoughtful touches make this a special stay. We would highly recommend staying at Wildwood B&B and will definitely be returning for a 3rd visit. Excellent service from Tanya - Thank you. Best regards Jenny & Tony

Such a comfortable and warm stay with Tania and her family including the beautiful and precious Milo. The property had an eclectic decor which was homely and incredibly clean. Everything had been thought of and we wanted for nothing. The towels were soft and the bed very comfortable. The home cooked breakfast was superb with a fantastic choice and all locally sourced. Some local shops and train station a stones throw from the house was a great benefit. We acquainted the Hare & Hound, a 10 min walk away which was a great traditional pub with very friendly staff. Booking advised for eating. A return visit is definitely on the cards and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Wildwood as a comfortable, pleasant and convenient place to stay for visiting the surrounding New Forest.
