Danehurst Cottage

Danehurst Cottage is a four-bedroom house sleeping eight in Tiptoe, a quiet corner of the New Forest near Lymington. You get the whole place to yourself, with two bathrooms, a working kitchen, oil heating, and parking for four cars on site. One well-behaved dog stays free.

The ground floor holds a living room with Smart TV and music options, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave—everything needed for proper cooking rather than holiday scrambling. There's also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a conservatory with a woodburner; initial fuel is included. Upstairs are four bedrooms: one double with an ensuite shower, one kingsize, one with two singles, and one with bunks. The main bathroom has a roll-top bath. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if you ask ahead.

Outside, an enclosed lawn has garden furniture, a barbecue, and a children's play area with climbing frame. A pond sits 20 yards away, covered by a childproof safety grate. Bikes can be stored on site. The New Forest spreads around you—famous for its wandering ponies and miles of walking routes—with Lymington's shops and sailing facilities five minutes' drive away, and Keyhaven beach nearby. The property does not permit smoking.
