Laurel Cottage

This single-storey cottage is built as part of the owner's home, tucked down a quiet lane on the edge of Lymington with the New Forest National Park accessible directly from the property. It holds one double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, with a sitting room and kitchen-diner below. The space is simply furnished and decorated, with a working kitchen for self-catering and an enclosed garden with patio at the back.

What you get includes wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels; everything needed for a short break. The cottage is a five-minute walk from Sway village, which has shops, pubs and a local community calendar of events. Lymington proper—the larger harbour town—lies just beyond, with ferries running to the Isle of Wight. The New Forest itself is the real draw: miles of open heathland and woodland where ponies roam, ideal for walking and cycling. Beach access is five miles away; various attractions like Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu Motor Museum and the New Forest Otter and Owl Park are within reasonable driving distance.
