About Forest Lodge
A short walk from Pikes Hill puts Forest Lodge within easy reach of the New Forest National Park, making it a practical base for anyone keen to explore the woodland and heathland that surround Lyndhurst. The hotel keeps things simple: comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a 24 hour reception so arrivals and queries are never tied to fixed hours.
There's a restaurant on site for guests who'd rather not venture out after a day outdoors, and a pub or bar nearby for those who fancy a change of scene. The setting lends itself naturally to activity, with horse riding, fishing and golf all available in the surrounding area, alongside entertainment options for evenings when the forest air has done its work.
Lyndhurst itself sits at the heart of the New Forest, giving guests a straightforward starting point for days spent walking, riding or simply taking in the national park's scenery, before returning to Forest Lodge for a meal and a night's rest.
