About The Crown Manor House Hotel
Lyndhurst's High Street runs through the heart of the New Forest, and it's here that The Crown Manor House Hotel occupies its historic manor building, surrounded by the woodland and heathland the area is known for. With free on-site parking, it makes a practical base for exploring the forest by foot, bike or on horseback, while remaining a short walk from the town's own pubs and restaurants.
The hotel holds 50 rooms, including family rooms and accessible options, all with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. There's a restaurant on site along with a bar, garden and outdoor seating for warmer days, plus room service, packed lunches and kids' meals for guests who'd rather not stray far. A lift serves the upper floors, and childcare can be arranged for families wanting an evening to themselves.
Beyond the rooms, the hotel is set up for events too, with meeting rooms, business services and a bridal suite for weddings. Concierge staff can point guests toward golf, fishing, watersports and cycling routes nearby, all within reach of the surrounding New Forest countryside. Laundry service and luggage storage round out the practical side of a stay here.
