Great experience for children and adults! Lovely decoration, all in detail!! Very friendly staff, I love the costumes! My son is almost 4 and remeber every little thing he was doing there, from helping to build a toy, to decorate a gingerbread house or the ice skating! It is cold but cozy, coat needed but not big scarf or gloves inside (you got the feeling of being outside, but it is all covered), not need wellies, jist comfy trainers, experience last 4 hours and a half, but you get to sit down to do activities, it goes quick! Take snacks and a pair of extra socks or trousers for the little ones if they skate!

This is the first year it has been at this site which it's 'twin' and original site is in Ascot but this made it easier for us to travel. First, it is expensive but... the quality of the visit/experience is worth the cost as it is done incredibly well and superior to anything else available. You did have to book many months in advance and we booked the first day it was possible to do so in April to get the day/date we could all go. The organisers have planned this with so many fine details throughout your visit to make it a truly magical experience for young children and adults alike. From arrival in the car park which is a short walk to your 'departure point' and arriving at the passport collection everything else is undercover at Manchester. Once you go through to each area the experience is fully immersion of the illusion you are in a make believe world. The 'Elves' costumes, make-up and interactions are so well staged your children will really believe as our grandchildren did. Before your visit, they send you boxed invites out to do a special reveal to your children that they have been invited to help the elves make toys, this if done correctly really made our grandchildren feel special and added to the overall wonder of the experience. You go into an Elven village with ice skating, food and drinks are available and the post office for those letters to Father Christmas. The meeting with Father Christmas was indeed special and put our grandchildren at ease and 'real'. The fact he knew a few things about them was a bonus so they felt they had seen the big man himself. Only negatives are the photograph the official Elf... took in the Father Christmas failed so when we went to collect the image at the end of the visit it had failed so we don't have the record of the meeting and the online shop service for advance orders for the Elf hats was abysmal no doubt down to logistics issue but for us although three weeks later than promised they did arrive a week before we went. The overall day was well worth it, so start saving and enjoy the best Christmas experience possible.

We visited Lapland UK Manchester and honestly, the attention to detail is incredible. Everything is indoors, which was such a relief because we visited during a storm and didn’t have to worry about the weather at all. The whole place feels magical from start to finish – every room, every interaction, every little touch makes it feel completely real. We went on a standard day, not a special session, and they were still absolutely amazing with my autistic son and with my dad’s disability needs. The staff were patient, understanding, and genuinely caring. I also lost my photo card and within minutes they had found all our photos and sorted everything out with no stress at all. Yes, it is expensive, but you can really see where the money goes – the level of detail and the immersive experience is like nothing else. The only thing I’d love to see is a bit more for the adults, but overall it was such a magical and memorable experience for the whole family. We would definitely go back! P.s. every single character is incredible and makes the children feel so important. They took their time with each child. We visited Ascot back in 2022 and they have learnt from having no shelter on the elven village and planned for traffic

What an incredible day at Lapland Manchester. From the moment we arrived it felt like stepping into another world. My wife booked it for the kids and I am so glad she did, because the whole experience was genuinely magical. We travelled with the elves through a portal into their world, made toys, decorated gingerbread, went ice skating and warmed up with hot chocolate, before meeting Father Christmas himself who somehow knew everything about the little ones. It was a proper five-hour adventure and the memories alone made it worthwhile. I have seen people mention the cost, so here is my honest take. The event is huge. Truly huge. There are staff everywhere, every area is decorated, and there are tiny touches absolutely everywhere. Trinkets, props, set pieces, hidden details, themed lighting, sounds and scenes that have clearly taken a massive amount of time to design and build. There are hundreds of Christmas trees, probably thousands, and the level of detail is far beyond what you normally see in seasonal attractions. Someone has thought about every corner of that place. It is obvious this takes the whole year to plan, create and rehearse, and they only have a short Christmas season to recover all that work. With that in mind, I did not find the price unreasonable at all. It is not cheap, but you genuinely get what you pay for. The value comes through in the scale, the craft and the sheer effort that has gone into every moment. I would happily recommend Lapland Manchester to anyone. We had a brilliant, memorable day and the children absolutely loved it.
