As I regularly tell anyone that will listen, this is my favourite place in the world. A magical escape to nature, offering a special opportunity to disconnect and spend time with the family. The Sauna-by-the-Stream was a fab addition to our experience, as was the hot-tub which we went for for the first time!

A beautiful tranquil location for a perfect get away from it all break. The tree house was beautiful and cosy when the log burner was lit. We had no sense that anyone else was staying, although there were 6 tree houses, all occupied. Walks with views start from the location. We chose to add the hot tub, which took some time and skill to warm, but was well worth our labours. Will absolutely be returning!

It was clear from the moment we arrived that we were experiencing somebody’s passion, there is no other way that an experience like this could have been created other than having joy in what the client would experience. The more you looked the more you found the careful consideration that had gone into our stay. This wasn’t five star luxury this was something more, the joy that comes from chopping your own wood, ready for the fire that you will create. The joy of finding everything you need just when you need it, the joy of the personalised note at the end of the stay that lets you know that they enjoyed you being there just as much as you did! As for the tree house itself, well I’m torn between sharing all the details or allowing potential guests to experience their own wonderment as they climb the spiral staircase to their temporary home in the canopy. I’ve chosen not to risk spoiling your adventure. But I can tell you of the fantastic soundtrack that only nature and the absence of other guests can bring. The joy of being the creator of your own happiness and the moments and conversations that come from not relying on the distractions that modern living provides. It’s beauty in being what it is and what it isn’t.

Wonderful experience in the living room treehouse! We had the penny treehouse and loved our time here, the treehouse has everything you need and they even has a small shop onsite open 24hrs for essentials. The log burner was a great addition and made our stay very cosy. Great owners and they really do want you to enjoy you time here.
