Pen Y Graig Treehouses - Bryn Meurig Bach
Powys
Photo: Google Maps
Bryn Meurig Bach is a timber-framed treehouse set deep in a wooded valley in Mid Wales. Two adults and up to three children occupy a single bedroom containing a double bed, two bunks and a day bed, each with views across the woodland through large windows. A spiral staircase leads to the open-plan living area, where a woodburning stove warms a combined kitchen, dining and sitting space. The shower room is external to the structure; toilet facilities are on a separate platform nearby. Bed linen is provided, and heating and hot water are included.
Outside, decking wraps the treehouse with rope bridges, hammocks and seating areas. You have private parking on site. The setting suits families seeking something out of the ordinary, or couples wanting seclusion among the trees; smoking is not permitted. Within half an hour's drive, the Red Ridge Centre offers outdoor activities including archery and kayaking, while the surrounding hills provide hiking routes and access to Snowdonia National Park further afield.
