What guests say
Stayed for one night as a solo traveller. Overall, it's a good hotel in a pretty central location, which is ideal for Victoria station. The room had everything I needed and the staff were helpful. The included breakfast was all really good and hot, which you don't always get with a buffet. Overall a great higher-end budget option.

Rooms were too hot, despite it only being 20-25°C outside during the day and 10 degrees cooler at night the a/c system could not cool the room. The a/c would also reset or turn itself off while you were in the room. We had two rooms, which both had these issues, but the smaller room was worse. We witnessed multiple guests all complain about the same issue. The hotel staff mentioned getting a fan, but then admitted there were none available. The staff suggested "taking cold showers" as an interim solution. I dread to think what this hotel would be like during warmer periods and suspect that air circulation in the smaller rooms will never be good. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and noisy, being hard, bouncy and springs popping every time you moved. There is a lot of construction in the area, with frequent road closures making it difficult to access the parking garage for which there is no signage. We had to use Google street view to find it and ended up driving the wrong way up a one-way street that had road markings indicating the other direction. Once you are in the hotel, the walking distance to the city centre is very convenient.

I stayed in this hotel between 5/20-5/23. The location is relatively convenient, 10-15 mins walking to Corn Exchange, Arnade shopping center, Manchester Cathedral... Room is good enough for 2 and luggage, the Air Con is exceptional good. Free breakfast includes all basic food. A staff called Will serves in dining room is very nice and helpful. One thing I disappointed is the cleaning staff service, I finished a box of tissue, and pull out the empty box, expect it will change a new box of tissue, it turns out the staff just put in about 15 sheets of tissues inside the outter box. Its disgusting. Other than that it was a great stay.

Lovely staff. The room was very spacious and clean with air conditioning which was great because the day I visited was hot! A special thank you to the manager at the reception Hanna. She was great and helped me with information about the city and managing my check out. Thanks Hanna!

Some reviews mention the breakfast service can be disorganized.
