The staff are the best staff I’ve ever come across in any hotel. So kind polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble!! Now Crowne plaza spend a few pennies on your hotel it’s a bit tired, your staff deserve something as good as they are. We did have a wonderful stay would recommend

A solid, reliable hotel without any standout features, but a comfortable place to stay overall. The Crowne Plaza is well positioned in Manchester and is a decent-sized hotel. It offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, although there’s nothing particularly memorable or luxurious about it. One positive was the shower. I’ve had issues with poor showers in many hotels, but the water pressure and overall quality here were very good. The breakfast was a little disappointing. It wasn’t much different from what you would expect at the Holiday Inn Express, which is located in the same area, so I had expected a bit more variety and a higher standard. The gym facilities are also quite limited and fairly basic, so don’t expect much if fitness is important during your stay. Overall, it’s a good, dependable hotel in a convenient location. While it doesn’t excel in any particular area, it provides a comfortable stay and is a reasonable choice for a visit to Manchester.

Interior decoration was top-notch. Room was very clean Staffs were very accommodating Early check in was allowed and late check outs too which makes them a standard to other hotels. Breakfast had various choices of meal including gluten free and veggies. Ambiance was exotic. Had the best time here. Location was excellent, everything was within walking distance to the hotel. From shopping to best dinning in to clubbing in the city, you only need to walk or taxi tour way there. Parking spaces are paid for and discounts are available. Will calling again.

I was very impressed at first with this hotel, where I stayed for one night whilst attending a business conference. Check in was smooth, the room i was appointed was clean, roomy and comfortable. Heading to the bar, drinks are reasonably priced. Food is tasty and staff are attentive and friendly. All was going well.. Until... Back in my room to get some sleep, I tried to turn the temp down as it was a very stuffy very warm temperature. The thermostat wasn't working so I called reception to ask for help, only to be told rhe whole floor I was staying had to AC or tempt control. I was offered a fan. I was not advised of this issue upon check in, nor was I offered a different room. A member of staff brought a fan...it was broken with exposed wires. It was a tall oscillating gan that had a dial controlling the longevity ofnits output...you twist the dial, the dial untwists whole counting down until the fan stops...well...fanning. this meant that every 90 mins, the fan stopped, I had to get ip and reset the fan going due to the heat. By 5am I was exhausted so went to reception to let them know. I was promised a call by a manager before I checked out. I did not receive this call. On check out I asked to speak to the manager, to be told the shift change meant the day staff manager was now on who knew nothing about my ordeal. Andy, the day manager, was, to be fair, helpful, although he did insist that they weren't aware of the AC issue and the whole floor wasn't in fact affected but that rhe AC system was newly upgraded, albeit with glitches. I was offered a discount on my room and told to contact Andy should I stay there again....at this stage, I'm not sure i will. The hotel is lovely. The staff are great. But it failed me on the one thing it was supposed to provide without doubt...a good night's sleep. I had to attend a 5 hour conference and drive home after getting roughly 2 hours very interrupted sleep...far from what you expect from a hotel of this standing.
