What guests say
Lovely staff. Lovely hotel. We got the studio room which was very spacious and clean. There was an issue with the AC, it was working but not at full capacity. Due to the hot temperatures a functional AC was important. They sent someone who quickly isolated the problem to a clogged filter. Issue swiftly resolved. Overall lovely. Also lovely gesture by staff with the popcorn

It's a really nice hotel The room was fantastic except for the air conditioning. I know in the UK and Europe air conditioning is not as paramount as it is here in America but if you say you have air conditioning then make sure that it's good air conditioning. Other than that though fantastic location really nice restaurant on site.

Let me start with the positives. The hotel is clean, is in a good location and has an excellent on site restaurant. The negatives though are plentiful sadly. The bed in the room is far too firm, it’s like Fred Flinstone moved his bed in there. It feels like sleeping on a slab of concrete. The bathroom is open plan, and this wouldn’t be so bad if they hadn’t wired the separate toilet cubicle lights to the rest of the lights in the bathroom area. So when you turn them on in the middle of the night they light up the whole bedroom area. Then there is the train line right next to the room, the soundproofing does an admirable job but it’s still very noticeable. Certainly on a lower floor like we stayed on. Then there is the complete lack of soundproofing of the room door. None of the doors have soft close mechanisms, so they slam constantly and the noise enters the room constantly. Finally there is the AC in the room. It doesn’t really do anything other than make noises akin to tinnitus. I can’t say I would want to return.

Very good place. Company paid for everything so can't comment on price. Room was very nice. Train line right outside but I didn't really hear much noise from them. Sink plug was not working but they fixed it very quickly. Ate at the restaurant and it was very nice. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Lots of bars and restaurants are nearby. As is the canal if you fancy a stroll there. Overall I would recommend staying here.
