About Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central
Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central works well for a wide range of stays, from business trips needing meeting rooms and reliable WiFi to weekend visitors wanting to be close to the city's attractions and transport links. With 265 rooms spread across six floors, it has the scale to handle conferences and weddings alongside everyday overnight stops.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and room service if you'd rather not go out. Staff are consistently helpful, and housekeeping keeps rooms clean and well-presented. Breakfast is a strong point, with good variety to set guests up for the day, though the on-site restaurant's evening menu is more limited, so it's worth exploring the bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. There's also a bar at the hotel, a snack bar, and laundry and luggage storage for longer stays.
The location on Great Bridgewater Street puts guests within easy reach of Manchester's city centre attractions, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all close by. Parking isn't included on-site but chargeable parking is available nearby, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those driving in.

What guests say
Cracking little hotel. Location great for central Manchester. Tram stop round the corner so easy to get around the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff lovely and very helpful when I stupidly locked my keys in my room. Bed and breakfast with comfy twin room was a real bargain at £80. Will stay again. Many thanks!

My husband and I stayed for one night at the Leonardo Central and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station, therefore making it very convenient. We stayed in an executive room on the fifth floor. Check-in was seamless, and the receptionist was polite and professional. The room was spacious, as was the en-suite bathroom. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the fridge were a lovely touch, and the Nespresso coffee machine was a great addition. Both the room and bathroom were spotless. The only minor issue was that the coating on the leather-effect headboard had peeled in a few places. However, this did not affect our stay. A special mention goes to the night manager, who was previously a chef. He went above and beyond by arranging a pizza for us after midnight, and it was excellent. We had a fantastic night's sleep. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the bedding was of an excellent quality. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a wide selection of hot and cold options. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Manchester.

Could have done with a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Also whilst in the bath, the body wash dispenser was too high up to use, okay if you were in the shower but not in the bath. I was just expecting a bit more quality for the cost of the room. The restaurant was very dull and basic. The breakfast however was excellent.

“Nice to see you” in neon lights greets you at reception and is reflected in every team reaction. The warm welcome made up for the chill of the day. The room was clean and well aired with a very inviting bed and superb shower. Before going out for the evening we visited the well stocked bar, returning later for a night cap! After a fitful sleep in the very comfy bed we had a hearty breakfast before departure. The hotel was very secure with key card access to stairs and the lift and a receptionist in place each time we came through the front doors. The most reasonable car parking is a short walk away but you can drop your luggage at the hotel entrance.
