About Old Trafford Guest House

A shared kitchen and a garden to sit out in give Old Trafford Guest House the feel of a relaxed home from home rather than a formal hotel. There's no restaurant on site, but pubs, bars and eateries are all nearby, so evenings out don't require going far, and drinks can be brought back to your room if you'd rather stay in.

Rooms are cosy and straightforward, including options for families, though bathrooms are shared rather than en suite, which suits guests happy to trade a bit of privacy for a lower rate. Free WiFi runs throughout, there's 24 hour reception for whenever you arrive, and luggage storage is handy for early check-ins or late departures. Free on-site parking is also included, useful given the property's location away from the city centre.

The setting on Davyhulme Road East puts Old Trafford Stadium within easy reach, and there's a golf course and other entertainment nearby for anyone extending their stay beyond matchday. It's a no-frills base that works well for football visits or a simple, budget-conscious stay in Manchester.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. I only selected it as it was not far from Old Trafford. I stayed at Old Trafford Guest House on Saturday night and checked out on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The property was in a very poor state of repair and appeared to be badly neglected. The décor was old and tired, the room needed repainting, the bathroom was poorly maintained, and even the toilet seat required attention. The staircase carpet was heavily stained, greasy, and looked as though it had not been properly cleaned for a very long time. The whole property felt dark, dated, and unwelcoming. The bedding did not appear fresh or properly presented, and overall standards of cleanliness fell well below what I would expect from any guest house advertised on Booking.com. There was also no useful information provided in the room, such as emergency contact details, local information, or basic guidance for guests. I am genuinely surprised that this property continues to be advertised on Booking.com in this condition. In my opinion, Booking.com should carry out more rigorous inspections or quality checks on properties like this to ensure they meet reasonable standards before offering them to customers. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this guest house based on my experience.

To be fair only used this address to park car for soccer aid but was allowed to use bathroom to wash and use toilet. Extremely friendly going above and beyond. Thank you for being so kind and caring

We slept here for a layover with my aunt and cousin, and it was the worst hotel I've been to. We were an hour early but we needed to wait in a filthy park instead since they wouldn't let us in. When we finally got into our rooms we saw greasy tables with cleaning done like never and piss on the bed (which was MY bed) which had a wobbly ladder. The only redeeming factor that this isn't all 1 stars is that when I puked on the floor (since I slept on the floor because of the piss) they gave us cleaning spray. Overall 1.06 stars / 5 stars | would NOT recommend

The facilities here were disgusting. That is all i can say. There was mould, mattress and pillows stained, curtains damaged. Room stank. Shower was leaking. And to top it all off, with COVID-19 there was meant to be proper restrictions and standards, here they were letting builders working on a next door property just walk in and use the toilet and facilities. They has nothing to do with the guest house property. Just look at the photos and make your own mind up!!!
