About Park Inn Manchester City Centre

Park Inn Manchester City Centre has 252 rooms, making it one of the larger bases for a stay near the AO Arena, with Cheetham Hill Road putting the rest of the city within easy reach. The hotel's setting near Manchester Cathedral means shops, bars and restaurants are all close by, and discounted parking is available for those arriving by car.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, drinks and room service, and family and accessible options are available for those who need them. Most rooms are kept clean and well-presented, though a few have been reported as less well looked after, so it's worth mentioning if anything falls short. I stayed at the Radisson hotel, Manchester city centre when attending a show at the AO Arena. It was perfect walking distance to the venue & the hotel had kindly given me great directions for getting from the train station. The hotel itself was perfect, really spacious rooms and clean. Great selection in the restaurant and good quality food. The staff were outstanding, they could not have been nicer or helped me out more. In a world that's turning more towards automation & self check in etc... I really appreciated having a personal connection and a friendly human to chat with behind the desk, I think that's what sets hotels apart. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel itself is very nice, and the staff are generally helpful and polite. We were there on a warm night (not the peak of the recent heatwave, but warm nonetheless) and our aircon stopped working in the middle of the night, causing a very bad night's sleep. When this was raised with reception they simply said that they kept having problems with the aircon in some rooms. This begs the question of why they continued to let people stay in them instead of fixing the issue! If they sorted the aircon, I would return as the breakfast was also ok and the location is great, but without that happening, AVOID!

This hotel is worthy of a four star grading. The room was air conditioned, spacious, stylish and comfortable. I had rung in advance and requested the top floor and was told this would be put on my notes, but when I checked in I found I was assigned the fourth floor. After a bit of quibble I was re-assigned the sixth floor and I was much happier there. The swimming pool was lovely and I really enjoyed having access to this. The only negative aspect of the stay was the conference catering. The provision for vegetarians was very disappointing. I think they could have tried harder to offer more variety. And have you ever known a hotel that doesn’t serve hash browns as part of the cooked breakfast? That was a first for me here!

Clean rooms although there was a dark brown hair on my bedding and I'm blonde. Staff were ok friendly enough except one tgat worked in the restaurant. I dared to ask a question about having no muesli and she literally looked at me and said what's there is what's there. I get they dont cater for everything but its her rudeness tgat astounded me she then proceeded to just stare at me and every given opportunity. I get it if you dont like people but dont work in hospitality then. It really us that simple. So its fair to say my yoghurt and fruit cost fortune.
